24.01.2022 While the big kids were away on camp, the P-2s had a Teddy Bears' Picnic! Tying in with our poetry lessons and our study on rhyme and rhythm, the students and their teddies enjoyed a delicious morning tea!

18.01.2022 Today on camp we started our day bright and early, hopping on a bus over to Horseshoe Bay! This morning we have had a go at Bootcamp and Amazing Race activities, with all students enjoying their time on the island so far! Next, lunch!
18.01.2022 The Year 3-6 students have had a very action packed first day filled with archery and radio activities! We settled down to a delicious dinner before starting our after dinner games. Check back in tomorrow to see what our students will be up to next!
15.01.2022 This afternoon has been filled with raft building and beach games! The students loved getting cool in the water!
07.01.2022 The P-3 students are learning about halves, quarters and eighths in maths and got to demonstrate these fractions with pizzas! Our students always love using concrete materials!
05.01.2022 Today the Year 5/6 class experimented with melting in their science lesson!

03.01.2022 Today Jarvisfield SS attended swimming lessons at the Burdekin Swim School where we were joined by Maidavale State School. All students are learning how to swim, and water safety.
02.01.2022 Today we enjoyed our final day at camp with Millaroo SS, Osborne SS and Clare SS at Magnetic Island. We built our own catapults and got involved in team building games. While we were sad to leave today, we can all say that we enjoyed camp and can't wait until the next one!
