17.01.2022 Capital Projects Division 1- The lists below are the capital projects for Division 1 that I submitted to Council after my re-election in April this year. These are for Council consideration and to be delivered this term, as budget and funding permits. Some projects have already been completed, some have commenced, and some are in the planning stages and will commence soon. Next month Council will be discussing the Capital Works Budget and deciding on which projects to include in next year’s upcoming budget. I will continue to push the capital projects on this list, but if you have anything that you think needs doing and is not on the list please let me know. NB- this is Capital Projects only, not maintenance and ongoing issues, which get addressed as required.

03.01.2022 LOCAL FIRE BAN NORTH COAST REGION Due to heightened fire conditions, a local fire ban has been imposed for the following Local Government Areas from 11.55pm... Monday (30/11): Bundaberg Fraser Coast North Burnett South Burnett Cherbourg Gympie Sunshine Coast Noosa The ban will remain in place until 11.55pm Monday (7/12). Under a local fire ban, open fires are prohibited and all Permits to Light Fire which have been issued in the designated areas have been cancelled.
