25.01.2022 As you all would know one of the main reasons as to why we are able to raise and donate a substantial amount to the Heartbeat of Football Foundation is due to the generosity of sponsors and raffle and auction prize donators. These unprecedented times mean even more so that we should try and be of assistance to each other ... especially those who support you. 19.01.2022 2 sleeps to go until 10 teams take the field in the 4th edition of the St Marys Band Club Rangers Jason Connolly Memorial Cup at Lily’s Football Centre. All proceeds from the day are once again being donated to the Heartbeat of Football Foundation. Remember round 1 kicks off at 8.30am. Weather permitting we hope to have the semi finals at 11.15am. All people entering the venue must sign in using the QR code at the front entrance. Entry fee is a gold coin donation.... Food and drinks will be on sale from the canteen and there will be raffle tickets on sale for numerous prizes that have been donated by generous sponsors. Importantly we urge everyone to take advantage of the free heart health checks on offer that are being conducted by the fabulous nurses from the Victor Chang Cardiac Institute. Whether its for the entire day , a few hours or even a few minutes pop down for a look , laugh and a mingle . The ‘big man’ would be proud as to have you there ... especially for this years tournament seeing he turned 50 on the 11th of November. Please share this post.
19.01.2022 With less than 24 hrs remaining until the kick off of the 3rd edition of the St Marys Band Club Rangers Jason Connolly Memorial Cup at Lily’s Football Centre we would like to remind everyone that nurses from the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute will be in attendance and will be administering free heart health checks. We encourage as many participants to take up this offer and go and get tested. Remember prevention is better than cure !!... As Mark Schwarzer said ... you might end up saving someone’s life ... your own
19.01.2022 Tomorrow night the JC Memorial Cup organisers had planned to meet up with both Andy Pascalidis and Nick Plataniotis from the Heartbeat of Football Foundation to formalise and announce officially a donation of 16k from last years 3rd edition of the Jason Connolly Memorial Cup. Unfortunately due to the current unprecedented situation that we all find ourselves in we have had to postpone this meeting. On behalf of the organisers we would like to thank all players, spectators, helpers , donators , sponsors etc for their efforts , generosity and support in helping us raise such a significant amount that will go towards heart health awareness.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Backyard Utd who beat last years winners ‘One Fittie %’ in yesterday’s Grand Final. This is the second time that Backyard Utd have taken out the St Marys Band Club Rangers Jason Connolly Memorial Cup. Once again thanks to everyone who attended either as a player or spectator , to all sponsors and donators , to all match officials, to the nurses from the Victor Chang Cardiac research institute and HOF committee members and to the green shirt army who assisted in helping make the 3rd edition of the JC Cup another success.
13.01.2022 Reminder to all captains/ managers / coaches / team owners of today’s tournament teams: As per FNSW sanctioning policy ONLY your non-registered players need to sign the green registration form . These will be at the rego table for captains to collect. If you have any new players replacing someone then please send them to the registration table.
11.01.2022 This Saturday November 28th at Lilly’s Football Centre is the 4th Edition of the St Marys Band Club Rangers Jason Connolly Memorial Cup. Some important information : Due to COVID regulations all persons who enter into Lilly’s Football Centre MUST sign in using the QR Code provided at the front gate. Social distancing procedures will apply. Temperature checks will also take place at the front gate upon entry. ... The entrance fee is a Gold coin donation with all proceeds being directly donated to the Heartbeat of Football Foundation. We will have raffle tickets on sale with a number of different prizes up for grabs that have been kindly donated by various sponsors. Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $20. The raffle will be drawn after the grand final on the day. Food and beverage will also be on sale from the canteen. Strictly no BYO alcohol is allowed. Nurses from the Victor Chang Cardiac Institute will be in attendance offering free heart health checks. Please take advantage of this. Due to the predicted temperature forecast being hotter than a sauna in hell the games may be shortened. Round 1 kicks off at 8.30am sharp. See you there !!! 09.01.2022 The Grand Final of the 3rd edition of the St Marys Band Club Rangers Jason Connolly Memorial Cup played between Backyard Utd and One Fittie % at Lily’s Football Centre. Backyard Utd were victorious to add to their title in 2017. Credit to team One Fittie % who have played in every grand final and were last years champions.
