04.01.2022 Today, The NRMA in partnership with Newcastle City Council has launched the first of 40 fast-charging electric vehicle stations to be rolled out across NSW and ...the ACT right here in Wallsend! We're strongly committed to becoming a smart, liveable and sustainable city, and the NRMA's choice to launch this $10 million initiative in Wallsend is a strong vote of confidence in our strategic vision for Newcastle. In the coming months, the City of Newcastle will roll out three more electric charging stations throughout Newcastle as a part of the Smart Moves Newcastle program.
