Sometimes we wait until the situation slips out of our control and we have run out of all our usual options. I will stop relying on myself and other people when I am in trouble. I will stop putting off my cry for help. From now on I will always turn to the Lord first of all and I will not delay. Since He is a God who cares for me and pays attention to me, I will make Him first in my life. I will always call to Him whenever I need help. I will love Him and honor Him by always looking to Him, even before trouble arises, even when there is no trouble in sight.
