A recent study (Toews et al 2019) has concluded that most health outcomes that were measured did not seem to have differences between the (NSS) Non Sugar Sweeteners exposed or unexposed groups It to me comes as no real surprise, though the authors of the study also noted that the group sample sizes, duration of exposure and further details limited the enduring confidence they have in the outcomes Which leads me to two points!! One being that I routinely recommend people to switch to artificial sweeteners especially those partaking my 6 Week Challenges where by my goal is to strip as much Fat or Weight as possible from them as any step in the right direction is a good one &... Two, if we ever dig a little bit deeper and read the papers produced the people conducting the research themselves the REAL outcomes of their findings are typically somewhat different from that the Media relay to us (This article has come up a few times in my feed being referenced that it completely debunks the myth that Artificial Sweeteners are bad, it hasn't, but it's the beginning of a lean in that direction no doubt ) Happy Friday people!! Yield: 2 serves Time: 15 minutes Dietary Info: DF, GF Calories: 428.50 Kj: 1793.00 Protein: 27.30g Carbohydrates: 42.80g Fat: 14.50g Sugar: 6.90g Ingredients 200 g Salmon 440 g Chat Potatoes 2 bunch Broccolini 1 tsp Rosemary 1 tsp Parsley 1 clove Garlic 1 whole Lemon 1 serve Salt and Pepper Method Step 1 Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking tray with aluminium foil. Step 2 Half fill a saucepan with water and bring to the boil. Step 3 Cut chat potatoes in half and place in the saucepan. Add broccolini after 10 minutes and boil for just a couple more minutes. Strain vegetables and transfer to a plate. Step 4 In a small bowl mix finely diced rosemary, parsley and minced garlic with the juice of half a lemon. Step 5 Place salmon fillets on oven tray and spoon mixture over each. Step 6 Slice lemon and place 1 slice on each fillet. Step 7 Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. 17.01.2022 Throwback to 2012, I think Never thought I'd make the front page of any paper let alone Mackay's (without needing a lawyer ) With the Pioneer Valley Boxing Club we had a tin shed, a few hanging bags and a work ethic like I haven't found anywhere since.... Due to nothing more than great coaches and mentoring that place produced multiple state, national and now (with the then younger guys mature and thrashing the pro ranks) international superstars. Seeing this picture was a big reminder to me as to how little we really need to achieve great things... I miss that tin shed

04.01.2022 Get great snacks in!! Food needs to be relatively cheap and easy otherwise instead of being an every now and then it'll quickly become a hardly ever.... Here's a simple snack from the JM Fitness app ... CHICKEN & CHICKPEA SALAD OVERVIEW Yield 1 Serve Time 20 minutes Dietary Info DF, GF NUTRITION INFORMATION Calories 242.50 Kj 1015.00 Protein 33.00g Carbohydrates 13.00g Fat 4.00g Sugar 2.10g INGREDIENTS 120 g Chicken Breast cup Cooked Chickpeas 1 cup Mixed Salad Leaves cup Cherry Tomatoes 1 small Cucumber 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley 1 wedge Lemon METHOD Step 1 Season chicken breast with a little salt and pepper. Step 2 Spray a little olive oil in a frypan and place over low-medium heat. Step 3 Place chicken breast in the pan and cooked for approximately 8-10 minutes either side. Allow chicken to rest for a few miutes and chop into bite size pieces. Step 4 Halve cherry tomatoes and thinly slice cucumber. Step 5 Place chickpeas, mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and parsley in a bowl. Step 6 Top with chicken and a squeeze of lemon.
