24.01.2022 Sunny Belle and Mong Khon take the short trip down the road to Pinjarra Race Club / Pinjarra Park today. Lucy Warwick takes the reins on Sunny Belle who ran with a close 3rd in a recent trial. Has the outside barrier and winkers go on. Looms as a top 4 contender in a small field. Mong Khon won his maiden at his only start last prep and came back with a 6th at Northam beaten less than 2 lengths. Stips fitter and has the inside gate for Mitch Pateman.

20.01.2022 So close for Mong Khon at Perth Racing Belmont... near perfect ride but beaten a long head on the line and pulling away from the rest of the field.

19.01.2022 Mong Khon steps up further in distance today and looks competitive in a 1600m Class 1 which has attracted just six runners. Should jump well from barrier 2 and Mitch Pateman should have him dictating the race from close to the pace. Fingers crossed we come home.e a winner.

Winkers off and Tory Turner in the saddle. Drawn wide but if able to get in and not forced back, has a chance to sneak a place given her recent trial.

14.01.2022 A short drive from home this afternoon with Indigo Wild and Dew West, as both run in Cl3 company at Pinjarra Race Club / Pinjarra Park. Indigo Wild hasnt had much success at Pinjarra with just two placings from five attempts. However, Mitch Pateman has a win and a second from two rides on the filly; and racing around a bend will also improve her chances. Dew West won track, distance and class last start. Other than trials, this is Mitchs first race ride on the filly. Jumpin...g from barrier 5, in a race with few pace influences she should lead or be close to the pace. Currently $25 for us to score the double...

12.01.2022 A busy day for us at Belmont with two last start winners and a maiden who was beaten by a head last start. Oshumi has the inside gate for Mitch Pateman in the opening maiden. Was only beaten a neck when leading last start and this looks a similar type of race. Granrandell (pictured) has drawn wide in the second but settled back in the field when a winner last start, so not expexting that to be a problem. Is up in class but Mitch knows the horse well and should be competitive.... The big fella Gunnago returned to form winning last start at Northam. Lucy Warwick replaces Mitch and she is in form after riding a treble at Pinjarra on Thursday. Lucy should find a position from a middle gate and then finish the race off if able to have an unitterupted run up the straight.

Todays extra 200m and nicer draw should see Jarrad Noske settle him a little further forward and in a better position coming to the turn. Fingers crossed for a good finish.
