The massive recall applies to diesel-powered Mazda 3s built between 2014 and 2016, Mazda 6s built between 2012 and 2018, Mazda CX-5s built between 2012 and 2018.... These vehicles may accumulate carbon deposits in the intake shutter valve and suffer premature wear of certain engine components, Mazda said.
