With the inclusion of outside elements, certain gemstones can occur in every color of the rainbow. The August birthstone, however, only comes in subtle shades of green. Chocolate diamonds are more luxurious than many diamonds because achieving the perfect cut is much more difficult due to the fact that they are a much harder material. 06.01.2022 This ring had to be cut off my clients finger so she brought it in to be repaired. As with all pieces of jewellery that come in, I always do a complete check including making sure the stones are still secure. In this case, as depicted in the middle photo (lifted on the left side), the stone was no longer sitting inside its setting and was easily removed with my fingernail! 01.01.2022 This was one of those really fun pieces to do! The main ring is made out of 18CT yellow gold with the feature piece in the top of this ring made from my client's original three tone wedding band. The original ring had worn so much it was unable to be repaired, as it was a puzzle style ring. So we joined the three parts together, flattened them out and fit them into the top of a signet style dress ring. This was a wedding anniversary gift that I'm sure the owner will enjoy for many years to come!
