Talk about a entrance into the old girl now the flared out stairs make a statement and invite you in The new merbau decking and merbau step treads came up a treat with 3 coats of cutek autumn tone decking oil ... On this one I stripped all the old decking off, rolled all the joists over and put in some new ones before laying the new boards. It really changed the look of the house

25.01.2022 Here is a laundry reno that I just completed. We made great use of this space by putting In a big linen cupboard hanging the dryer above the washing machine and giving extra storage space with the other cupboards. The colours really tied in well with each other and how good does the copper handles look

24.01.2022 A shed every man would love to have I had the pleasure of teaming up with Dalgliesh building before Christmas to build this 26m by 50m shed out at clifton. There is still another 26m by 50m to add on to it this year.

24.01.2022 Look at thoses glass doors! How good do they look? I did this kitchen for a lovely couple out the back of meringandan. Gloss white doors and the lay out of this kitchen has made the area feel so much bigger. Its not every day that you get to see a sliding door on the pantry. It has made really great use of the corner seeing we couldnt get a corner pantry to work there.

22.01.2022 What a statement this fence makes as you drive down the road. By using some simple material such as 250 to 300 round timber posts and 175 by 50 hard wood we was able to create this grand country style fence. The owner wanted to put a feature panel at each side of the drive way to make it stand out so we used some corro mini orb. ... Thanks to RCJ quality homes for helping me with this one

21.01.2022 Here is a little Reno that I started a couple of weeks ago out at back plains. We pulled down the ceilings in 4 bedrooms. Re battened and straightened and packed level all the battens before we resheeted them. I pulled out the existing front door and put in all new jams, door sill and a new front door. Once the floors have been sanded I will put all the skirting boards on .

21.01.2022 What a difference this built over patio has made to this house. They can now do the washing up with out the sun blasting into the kitchen and dining room all day. They also got a big area now to entertain and they can also walk from the house to the shed now with out worrying about the weather.

20.01.2022 Here is a drop front vanity that I fitted for a customer the other week. They was tight for room in there ensuite so by using a drop front we was able to gain a bit of extra room either side of the basin which made it easier to get to the shower an toilet.

18.01.2022 What a difference this made to there out door entertainment area! They had a little pokie 4 meter by 3 meter area before and I extended it extra 12 meters by 4 meters. The posts are 90mm by 90mm merbau timber posts along with a 150mm by 40mm merbau beam. The roof is 50mm insulated paneling which makes not only a huge difference to sit under but also cools the house down. I put in 5 down lights for the owners evenly space so the will have all the light that they need. Here are some before and after pictures

18.01.2022 Have a look at this insulated carport and colour bond fence! What a huge difference it has made to to this house. The gable roof with the skillon off the side gives the owners heaps of space to park there cars. The aluminum louvers across the front of the gable really set it off and makes a nice feature out the front and gives it alot of street appeal. ... I ran aluminum louvers down the side of the skillon to the top of the fence to stop the hot afternoon sun pelting in on the cars and it keeps the rain out aswel. I put twin wall in the back of it the close it off from the weather aswel By putting the insulated roof up it has also made the house heaps cooler in the afternoons. I put some led down lights in it and got them wire up to a sensor so when the owner comes home at night it lights up as soon as they drive in. 17.01.2022 LOOK AT THEM POST!! Wouldnt you love to have timber post on your patio with out any up keep?? Well theses post are for YOU. Bet you would have never guessed these are aluminum 140 x 140 merbau look alike posts. You can sit back under your insulated roof with down light kicking back sipping on a few coldies and never have to worry about oiling the timber posts. They will always look good. More time for watching the footy and having bbqs. I did this job for a customer in toowoomba .

16.01.2022 What a difference a colour change can make Here is a kitchen I did for a lovely couple in westbrook. I reused 90 percent of the existing white board cupboard, re aranged the lay out and just added two new draw units to this kitchen. We got rid of the awful green and black which made this space feel so dark and small. I replaced the bench tops with 20mm stone and all the panels. I made all doors a nice gloss white and how amazing do they look? I also re faced the kicks boards with a brush ally which makes them look more modern and stand out on the timber plank floors. The kitchen now feels massive and it is so bright in there now.

15.01.2022 Keeping the characteristics of a lovely timber home but using modern materials Here is a new deck and roof extension that I did for a lovely couple out at goombungee. I turned there small cosy deck into the perfect area where they can have all the family over and sit back and watch the kids in the pool. I pulled up all the old decking and continued the floor joists and bearers into the new area.... I layed new 19 by 90 merbau decking and oiled it with cutek autumn tone decking oil. The owners had a request to keep the characteristics looks of when your sitting on the deck you can still see a corro ceiling. So I insulted there existing roof area and lined it with corro sheeting and lined up the new roof area so it flows on through. The new roof area I used insulated roof panel with corro both side. To finish the deck off we took out a existing window and cut in a set of french doors. It ties the whole house together nicely with easy access from the kitchen to the deck now. See more

12.01.2022 Had the pleasure of making this custom made chair to hide a ugly copper log retaining wall. We made the frame out of 50 by 50 gal steel and wrapped the whole frame with merbau decking boards and made all the screw line line up with the deck so it just flowed.The owners loved it

12.01.2022 Now those are some gates I had the pleasure of making these timber gates for a customer out in goombungee. She was after a feature in her front fence along with something that would tie in with the era of the house. I oiled all the timber up and even finished the gates off with the old style sliding latch. They really stand out and make a feature of the house as you drive past. Wouldnt you love to come home an open these every day

12.01.2022 What a difference this new 50mm insulated roof made to this house. It's so much cleaner than having timber rafters and battens.I reused the existing timber posts of the old frame and put up 2 new steel powered coated beams. The owner had a specific request to put 2 light panels in so they could get as much natural light into the kitchen as possible. I had to make up two steel frames to support the clear poly carb sheet and the twin wall on the ceiling side. I also put 3 led down lights in the patio.

11.01.2022 Wow what a impression that waterfall end island unit makes. The clean crisp gloss white doors and the 40mm thick square edge tops really makes this space feel and look a lot bigger than what it is. By using the 40mm square edge laminated tops you can achieve the look of the thick stone look while being able to keep the cost down at the same time .... The owner didnt want any grout lines in the kitchen splash so I used a glass splash

11.01.2022 THOSE CASEMENTS what a huge different it has made to the front of the house. I stripped the casment windows right back to the bare timber.Gave them a few good coats of paint. I Changed the glass over so you can see out of them and let the natural light into the house by putting clear glass top and bottom with the textured glass in the middle as the feature. I than rehinged all the windows with new hinges and got the gaps as best as I can. I even kept the original French doors and made them into a full glass doors. Put all new brass hardware on the doors and windows along with a new landing, handrail, slats and stairs.This house has come along way since I first started out there

11.01.2022 Here is an existing patio that I closed in. I used insulated wall panels so it gave a smooth white surface on the inside than claded the out side in powdercoated woodland grey aluminum cladding. I also fitted a out door kitchen on adjustable legs so the owners can still hose out the area. They have a 20mm stone bench top and push touch latches on the doors and draws

11.01.2022 WOW!!!! What a huge difference!!!! Here is a kitchen that I designed and installed for a customer just recently. Out with the old pick and green and in with the new gloss white and stone bench tops. We made the most of this kitchen by putting in as many draws as possible which make the best use of the space. The owner loves to entertain so we made the kitchen part of the deck by pulling out the old sliding window and putting in a new bifold window bring the deck inside. You will always be part of the party now while preparing the food. The glass door displays cabinets at the back of the servery top make this kitchen feel elegant and makes a nice feature as you walk in the back door. I bet you would have never thought the splash back was glass either. The brick pattern looks so realistic and sets the hole job off

11.01.2022 Have a LOOK at that pantry!!! Here is a kitchen that I recently completed. What a difference it made to the room. I continued the wall from behind the fridge to the wall where the window is so I could give the owners a fair size kitchen with plenty of cupboard space. The Gloss white doors and gloss bench tops made the area feel big and bright. Who hates having a messy pantry? By putting draws in everything is sorted and now you can find the sauce bottle that always ends at the back corner of

10.01.2022 Here is a new landing and set of stairs that I did this week. It has made a nice feature out the front of the house now. I used hard wood timber joist an bearers for the frame of the deck with adjustable steel stumps. All the decking and handrail was done out of merbau hardwood. The stair treads are 300 by 50 merbau treads and they will look a treat once there all oiled up with the deck. The stair stringers was measured up on sit and I fabricated them to suit the treads and the height of the landing so all the rise work out to the ground.I poured a concrete slab at the bottom so the customer wont be dragging dirt an mud up the stairs. To finish it off we ran some hardwood slats under the landing to tidy it all up. Also replaced a couple rotten hardwood weather boards and fixed up the 2 front doors.

The timber aluminium looks so realistic and the best part about it Is there is no up keep with it. This patio and pergola came up a real treat

08.01.2022 A job that I completed over the Christmas period what a change it made to the house. I stripped the old glass out and took out the solid timber door. Stripped all the paint off the timber jams to reveal the nice hard wood. Put in some clear glass and a new 10 panel glass door. To finish it off we stained an vanished all the timber. It made it so much brighter inside and the entrance feels so much bigger and inviting

08.01.2022 A fly screen room that I recently finished for a customer out at greenmount they had an existing insulated roof an deck. I framed out all the openings with a aluminum tracks and rolled in paw proof screen and put a screen door in aswel. They will be able to site out on there deck all over christmas with out any flys or mosquitos annoying them

07.01.2022 What a difference this deck and roof has made to this area. I pulled out the old window and cut in a new glass sliding door. Than I put up a steel frame deck up. The best thing about the steel frame is you never have to worry about it rotting out. Once the decking boards were all down the 75mm insulated roofed went up with 4 led down lights. The 300mm by 50mm by 1800 long step treads really set this deck off and give you heaps of room to walk up and down. The deck has had 2 coats of cutek butnt red decking oil.

This is a set of built in cupboards I did for a customer it gives them heaps of space for hanging and look at all that draw space. It makes a nice feature in the bed room and you even get a tv space

06.01.2022 I bet you wouldnt have picked these to be the same doors and what a difference a bit of stain some stone top and some love did to this kitchen!! The owner wanted to keep the timber doors but make the kitchen look more modern and not so out date and run down. I swapped the pantry and fridge around and on the island unit I added two cupboards and some draws at both ends. I pulled all the doors,draws and panels off, got them stripped back stained and clear coated. I re faced... the kick boards in brush ally to give it a contrast to the timber floors. I removed all the handles of the doors on the back side of island unit and put push touch catches on it so it look like one be panel to the eye. The water fall end bench top with the breaky bar makes the little kitchen fell so big. The owners are over the moon with the end result. 06.01.2022 Now that is a patio!!! what a way to spend Christmas sitting in the spa watching the cricket and taking in the views! Here is a insulated gable patio that I just completed in kingsthorpe. I used 140 by 140 aluminium timber look alike posts under the patio and what a statement they have made. We filled in the front of the gable with pearl white aluminium louvers and put opal multi wall in the back. There is 8 led down lights in the ceiling. ... To tie the pool fence in I used smaller aluminium timber look alike posts and it has made a good feature in the fence. In the new year there is blinds to go in between the posts and i can't wait to see them in.

06.01.2022 What a difference this landing has made to this house. The owners can now open the door without having to step back down the stairs. The timber hand rail and slats really made this landing, and makes it a really feature as you walk to the back of the house. I even had to put a spot in the the balustrade for the dog to jump off the deck. The 250 by 50 merbau treads really compliment the deck and looks great as you walk up them. 05.01.2022 Here is an old farm house I had the pleasure of renovating last year the owners wanted to change the the look of the house and let a lot more natural light in. So i took out the glass sliding door that had coloured glass in it and I also taken out the little double hung windows. I then framed up the wall for some new double hung windows 1800mm high by 1200mm wide. I also closed off 2 door ways into a bedroom as it didnt need 3 doorways. I then filled in the gaps with pine vj boards to blended into the existing wall. I matched all the skirting and architraves back to the original features so it flowed with the rest of the house. I re-used what existing material I could to reclad the walls than ordered new stuff to finish it off

05.01.2022 Here is a kitchen that I finished over the weekend for a customer out in crows nest. Its not every day you get to work with a bay window kitchen. Out with the old pink doors an brown tops an the angle cupboards that didnt work with the dishwasher. I replaced it all with off white gloss doors and instead of having all doors we went with mainly draws that maximize the space. The bench top was a sandstone gloss looking an over on the back wall of the kitchen we put in a glass door display unit with glass shelves. It really changed the look of this space. 04.01.2022 Turning the back into the front Have a look at the difference here!! Jason and Matty stripped off all the cladding on the back of this house. Took out the 2 existing doors put in a double hung window and framed up and built the new custom front entrance door for the customer.Than the boys put all the cladding back on tiding it all up for them. Jason and Matty also did the front entry in the house for them sheeting the walls and running the trims and all the carpentry in the bathroom.
