24.01.2022 Hello again my dear Amigos . 1981 Sterling silver 92.5 Isle of Man 5 pounds special edition one.. three legs national emblem of Isle of man . The legs are usually seen to run clockwise and carry the Latin motto 'Quocunque Jeceris Stabit' meaning 'it will stand whichever way you throw it' a reference to the independence and resilience of the Manx people.... (cool )... I have never cut this particular one before and I have managed to finished it this week . I added a touch of patina to highlight the details . have the feeling that I am not gonna see this one again for a long time . 20.01.2022 Netherlands (2 1/2 Gulden ) This is a very nice coin carrying 72% silver and about 33mm in size . It was a standard circulation coin from 1959 to 1966. This is the national coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands . It was originally adopted in 1815 and later modified in 1907. It features a checkered shield with a lion grasping a sword in one hand and a bundle of arrows in the other and is the heraldic symbol of the monarch and the country.... 20.01.2022 BELGIUM, 5 FRANCS 1869 (LEOPOLD II) This is a solid 90% silver coin (37mm.) with 151 years of history, ready to be displayed anywhere you decide. The coin has writings around the egde meaning God protects Belgium, letters around the egdes of coins always give them a geat finish. As I always do with old coins I added patina as the idea is to leave the coins with a very similar look of antiqueness preserving its old style but at the same time giving a nice lustre. And yes yes I... spent a long long time working on this beauty. 20.01.2022 Hello again amigos . Here you got a beautiful Tree of Life Silver pendant cut from an Australian Round 50c silver coin from 1966 . As you can see I have spent a bit of time drilling and cutting this piece ,but that wasn’t a problem because creating this beautiful Tree of lLife was a real pleasure I love trees you love trees we all love them . ... 17.01.2022 Hey hey guys ...... Australia One Penny today it’s a Kangaroo time 2 orders with the year of the birth. These coins have been very popular over many years and I think they will still remain like this for a long time . Read this : If you did not know;... The Australian penny was a coin of the Australian pound used in the Commonwealth of Australia prior to decimalisation in 1966. It was worth one-twelfth of an Australian shilling and 1/240 of an Australian pound. The coin was equivalent in its dimensions, composition and value to the British penny, as the two currencies were fixed at par. The coin was first introduced in 1911, and stopped being minted in 1965, with the introduction of decimalisation. When decimalisation happened on 14 February 1966, the coin value was equal to 0.8333. All of the pennies featuring George VI and Elizabeth II had a kangaroo on the reverse. The kangaroo image was on the Australian half-penny and has since been included on the dollar coin and the bullion silver kangaroo. 14.01.2022 A tribute . Australian slouch hats or sometimes called digger hats. Most commonly worn as part of a military uniform, it is primarily associated with Australia, where it is considered to be one of the Army’s national symbol. During World War II some clever Australian soldiers made miniature slouch hats from pennies. The hats were cleverly made so that the 'Australia' lettering on the coin was visible. The distinctive Australian slouch hat has one side of the brim turned up ...in order to allow a rifle to be slung over the shoulder. . 13.01.2022 Hope you are all well ..... I would like to show you a very interesting and unique coin from Tibet, ( 3 sho from 1946 ). Honestly it made me think twice before attempting to cut it in full detail .. I did it and I believe it turned out as I was expecting . Nice . Its a copper coin which I added a touch of patina to highlight the great details of it . The image on the centre shows Mt. Everest on the Himalayas and the snow lion which is considered a celestial animal by Tibe...tans. The snow lion is also the emblem of Tibet which represents the snowy mountain ranges and glaciers ,power, strength, fearlessness and joy.
