06.01.2022 One of the advantages of having a dear friend who lives at the beach are the amazing sunset photos she shares during lockdown. Even though I can't visit, the beautiful photos help keep us connected. I decided to turn one into a drypoint print (with her blessing of course and I'm sure she will receive one once complete as thanks).

05.01.2022 It's Jax Studio Melbourne's First Birthday! When I quit my full time job to following my dream of opening the studio, I knew the first year would be a roller coaster and have it's own risks and rewards. I certainly didn't predict 2020 presenting these extra challenges for my little startup! Covid wasn't factored into my detailed business plan, that"s for sure. Despite a rough start I have absolutely no regrets following my dream. The studio has been my beautiful and inspiring sanctuary and has kept me sane and creative during this time of uncertainty.
