25.01.2022 Our beautiful girl had a very special pamper session today!

22.01.2022 We managed a walk around Langy today with our Devine Miss Kimba and Jax on the harness.. Unfortunately lockdown has had us unable to do much so we decided we have had enough and that walks around the streets need to do on this Father’s Day.. this timing has worked perfectly with Jaxons sudden willingness to walk and play with his girl.. he has been so much more in tune with her and she is responding with such care and consideration, watching the video of them crossing the road you can see her checking Matt, then checking Jax.. she was perfect and consistently checked all of us and made sure we were all ok, not once stopping for a sniff which is amazing seeing as all her walks with me have been based around us just breathing and calming down. She is just incredible.

20.01.2022 Although she’s not a massive fan of baths, we had a brilliant time today when Jaxon finally helped us give Miss Kimba a wash! Normally she gets a bit shaky and won’t accept treats but today she was more calm than she’s ever been.. maybe having her boy help, calmed her too? The normally sensory sensitive Jax was even happy to have soap and give her a good scrub..

17.01.2022 Isn’t this an amazing photo!!! Calendars are the best Christmas gift, and one from DKD would be amazing and the funds help them too!

13.01.2022 Today was great having Jaxon home from school, the kids have a rest day on Wednesdays for the first few weeks.. however, when it came time to pick up his sister, things were getting a little tough, he was tired and he was not overly keen on listening, having spent the day giving me great communication via sign language and his communication app he was tired and a bit done with the day. Kimba helped me to navigate the carpark safely, laid with him waiting for the bell and then parked (sit and stayed) perfectly and patiently next to the car while I wrangled him into his seat. We take the good with the bad and today was both. Kimba is always there for us and watching for an opportunity to help. We’re so lucky to have her https://www.facebook.com/DogsforKids/
