23.01.2022 Lady Gaga’s 2013 experimental album, ‘ARTPOP’ which included contributions from featuring artists like Twista to lyricists like Sun Ra, has often been considered as a ‘cult classic’ despite its initial lacklustre chart reception. This is evident by a recent petition circulated by fans, clamouring for ‘ACT II’ of the album with signatures surpassing 44k. In response to the overwhelming fan fervour which recently caused the album to reach #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart,... Gaga and GRAMMY-winning producer, Paul "DJ White Shadow" Blair / DJWS who is credited on a majority of its tracks, have now made plans to discuss the potential ‘ACT II’ of ‘ARTPOP' which had been previously shelved. With the album’s ten-year anniversary incoming, this is an incredible feat and a nod to the power of fans and social media especially considering Blair saying that the album was particularly difficult to make in his statement and Gaga tweeting, Thank you for celebrating something that once felt like destruction. We always believed it was ahead of its time. : Dimitrios Kambouris In celebration of this news, tell us in the comments who you would like to contribute to the sounds of ‘ARTPOP: ACT II’ and explore the credits of the 2013 release here: bit.ly/JXT-ARTPOP
