24.01.2022 Meet Kate The heart and soul of Jaybelle Care, my shining inspiration and the reason I am who I am. I have been a passionate advocate for Kate as we navigated our way through the complexities of the NDIS. Kates needs meant that she wasnt often heard. I was blessed to be her voice to make sure she gets the support she needs and that all involved are working towards her goals. ... Everyone deserves to be heard and supported by passionate, experienced and qualified support workers. That is why I created Jaybelle Care. Jess x

14.01.2022 I am blow away by the kindness in the world. A beautiful hearted man from Robson Civil took hours out of his day to make a young mans day (or even year!). We got to tour their machine yard, go for a drive and visit a construction site and even have a go at the machinery. Thank you Robson Civil and more so, thank you Greg Ferguson! #communityconnections #Jaybellecare #robsoncivilprojects #robsoncivil

10.01.2022 Anyone who knowns me, knows I am so passionate about helping people learn and achieve. I am launching learning programs within participants support plans to reach specific goals based on learning and skills development. For many people, the key to becoming more independent is gaining additional literacy or maths skills, for example to work out a bus schedule or order a drink. Sometimes people just need a bit more than what school is offering or has offered. So Jaybelle Care i...s here to help bridge that gap. 07.01.2022 Children and Teens Jessica is a qualified teacher, has completed a graduate diploma in psychology and has experience with working with children and adults with a disability. When using NDIS core funding to work with Jaybelle Care we can support children and teens:... In home with their daily personal activities Accessing the community, social network and extra curricular activities In the school environment Managing big emotions after a large school day, support with homework, or reviewing school learning if relevant Implement goals set by specialists, such as OTs, speech therapists, and psychologists Support families in achieving goals If you do not have any specialist input or limited capacity building supports, Jessica has experience setting social, emotional, educational and communication goals. We will work in partnership to set and implement achievable and measurable goals Jaybelle Care believes in holistic care. Our participants well-being is the most important factor. If you dont feel good in yourself, it is very hard to learn and use what you have learned. So, social and emotional well-being with positive relationships is most important to Jaybelle Care.

07.01.2022 Supporting life transitions Jessicas personal history with her family means she knows how large the transition from being at school to becoming a more independent young adult is. Even years after this transition, some people still feel the gap from moving away from a structured learning environment. This is why Jessica, Jaybelle Cares founder, is so passionate about supporting young adults during these times. No matter what school or educational setting young adults have ...come from, it is a large leap from being in a structured learning environment, to having to use all the skills you have spent your life learning in your new work place or community. Jaybelle care can support young adults with: - Continuous learning: we can work towards using social skills, emotional regulation and communication skills in a structured way. We can set goals to continue to master these skills in your new setting - Social and emotional support - Mentoring - Understanding new roles and responsibilities - Establishing supportive networks in the community and linking to services and programs - Support coordination to make sure everyone is working together with our young adults driving the decision making This applies to any adult transitioning to a different stage in their life, it may be transitioning into a new home, new work place or experiencing new community programs. People of all abilities need support during life changing times. Contact Jessica Hokin to find out more
