Lovingly created by the Geeveston Material Girls, the boxes are distributed by the community group Geeveston Cares to famil...ies and new mothers in the area. Through acts of kindness, Geeveston Cares continues to create a caring and generous place for people to live and thrive. The Geeveston Community Bank staff were very happy to provide the Material Girls with a donation of $500 to continue this very helpful and touching gesture. 05.01.2022 Merry Christmas! What a year it’s been, we send our love and prayers to all that are doing it tough this year and hope that through it all, there has remained that flicker of light that helps remind you that there are people out there that care and you are not alone I would like to take the time to thank the wonderful volunteers this year that again gave up their time to serve our communities in the valley. We say goodbye to one of our Friday girls, Lena, who has been such... an asset to us and always full of laughs. We will miss you and hope you come to visit when you can Also we say goodbye for a while to Karen as she has some much needed time off to spend with her growing family. Thank you for the time and effort you gave to serving our communities since you began volunteering with us. I’m sure we will see you on occasions throughout 2021 . Finally thank you to our customers and those who have donated goods over the year, without you we wouldn’t have been able to do all the things we did this year and we did a fair bit haha Looking forward to 2021 whatever it may bring we can get through it together.
