24.01.2022 We wouldn’t call ourselves ‘beach people’ but we’re loving staying at the beach for weekends away this winter (it’s hard to go anywhere else when Avery constantly asks ‘caravan...beach?!’) Jayden was the only one game enough to brave the waters off Point Lonsdale today! The rest of us stayed happily rugged up... we’ve found that thick plastic overalls are perfect for Huon in his crawling stage and Avery has a full body rain-suit and gumboots. She was shin (and wrist) deep in... sand and water and none of it got inside Days like this are what life is all about...making memories

21.01.2022 Let’s talk caravan lunches!! We have our brekky and dinners down pat, but find ourselves either eating out or just having snacks for lunch. So we want to know...... What’s your go-to lunch when you’re away camping??

20.01.2022 Huon is One! The last year has honestly gone so fast! Life with newborn Huon was pretty tough but we’re loving this stage of life where he’s more independent and can play with Avery. We were supposed to have a party today, but had to throw those plans out the window and make new ones - spending the weekend in the caravan (which is never a bad thing!) on the Bellarine Peninsula.... Huon at One... He can say - Mum, Dad, Ta, Woof (no we don’t have a dog ) and he added ‘Truck’ to his vocabulary today, along with the endless truck noises! Huon is our sensitive baby - he loves a cuddle, is devastated by being told off and is a little people-shy (maybe partially due to the fact that we were stuck at home for a quarter of his life). He’s a mumma’s boy through and through (which I secretly love), although he loves playing with Avery and getting roughed up by Jayden! We’re excited for all the future adventures we get to take him on

08.01.2022 We love that this is the childhood our kids will grow up remembering - trips in the caravan, getting dirty, endless family time and adventures... That’s the ‘normal’ we want for them, so we’re going to make it happen.
