24.01.2022 The September cash rate was held at 1%, in order to allow time to observe economic trends before resorting to further cuts. Currently, Australia’s inflation rate remains below the official target of 2-3%, with the Australian dollar continuing to weaken. The unemployment rate equals 5.2% for the fourth month in a row, and real wage growth remains low at 0.7%. What do we think will happen in the month of October at the next meeting? It's a very interesting time to say the least!

21.01.2022 INDUSTRY NEWS With the news from the Federal Budget, an extra 10,000 spaces for the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme have been extended to first home buyers on top of the already allocated 20,000 this year. Ten thousand additional first home buyers will be able to access the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme, allowing them to get into their first home with a deposit as small as 5%.... The new places will be available from this week until June 30 next year and unlike the first announcement of the scheme, the extended FHLDS is for loans on newly constructed properties only. I think this is so exciting and taking a great step in helping people secure their first home...amazing!

12.01.2022 A fixed rate loan is where you simply fix your loan interest rate for a specific amount of time and a set interest rate. Your interest rate and repayments would not change during this fixed period. Lenders offer fixed terms from 1 year, up to 10. However a variable rate is where the rate fluctuates either up or down with the market trends. Having a variable rate, you would also see a change in your loan repayment, depending on which way the rate has changed. I have rates on offer for both fixed and variable rate loans in the 2% range, to discuss which option is suited for you, feel free to send me a message.

We looked at Car Sales online and I let him select whichever car he wished for (lol start saving until your 85 ). He also had a think about how much he might like to spend. We sat and did the maths: + How much he needs to save between now and then ... + How much is this per year + How much per month + How much per week + How will he will reach this goal. e.g pocket money / jobs in the neighbourhood It’s never too young to teach kids the value of money and how to reach their goals.
