Racing at Hawkesbury after being balloted out of Newcastle and the recent Bowraville meeting being abandoned. YULONG MONOCEROS - Jean Van Overmeire (7) 55kg Ran very well last start with the big weight impost at Scone. She drops 6kgs for today but it is a rise in class. YULONG MONOCEROS - Adam Hyeronimus (17) 59.5kg Race 6 - Coffs Harbour Toyota Daniel Baker Showcase Sprint (1200m) GOT UNDERS - Adam Hyeronimus (5) 60kg Yulong Monoceros returns from a break and will have to overcome a sticky draw. Expect her to be sharp enough and race well if luck in running goes her way. Got Unders will defend his Daniel Baker Sprint title after a fantastic win here 12 months ago. Ideally drawn for Hippo and gets into the race carrying 1.5kg less than last years victory. He has a great record at the track missing a placing once in his seven starts. GOT UNDERS - Jean Van Overmeire (8) 60kg We’ve kept the old boy in cotton wool waiting for a track with a little give in it after some recent fine weather. Forget he went around last start. Unders drew off the track and was posted wide throughout and stuck on extremely well to be beaten just under three lengths. You’ll get overs with Got Unders today and he’s worth an each-way ticket! HAVAZAC - Dylan Gibbons (a4) (4) 59kg Havazac doesn’t win out of turn and will need things to fall into place to figure in the finish. He is much loved by his owners and will enjoy his carrots and pats after the race regardless of the result. Looking forward to giving Newcastle apprentice Dylan Gibbons a ride for the stable. He has been riding quite a few horses work of late and it has been greatly appreciated. Annalysium was scratched this morning and we’ll find another race for her next week.

01.01.2022 Rapt with the performances of Got Unders and Yulong Monoceros today at Coffs Racing. Yulong Monoceros was given a great ride from Hippo and slotted in nicely after going back from the bad draw. She enjoyed a good run and found the line strongly to be beaten just over two lengths. She will appreciate stepping up to a 1200m next start and appears set for a good prep. Got Unders narrowly missed going back to back. He began nicely and travelled sweetly in the run. Held up for a f...ew strides at the furlong and once he switched off the heels of the leaders and was extricated to the outside, savaged the line to go down by a neck. To quote the great Jerry Seinfeld hate The Drake Got Unders tucking into his dinner after a job well done
