25.01.2022 Fence extension for some more privacy. Extremely happy with how it looks and the feel it gives to the house now. Just need to get back and paint to finish it off.

24.01.2022 Start of another lawn recovery. The base is there just need to work at it with the client and over time get it looking the way it should. I like doing these as shows what can be achieved with a bit of patience and regular work on the area to keep leaves etc off so can breathe and grow.

24.01.2022 When its your wifes Birthday got to make sure that you have the time to treat her. Love you beautiful

24.01.2022 Finished this one last Thursday but started it a while back. Gardens over grown blocking sun so did a hard cut back to open up to allow as much sunlight in as possible over the day. Fixed the retic up to ensure enough coverage then levelling prep, soil prep, laying and watering plus a hit of Bi-Agra to give it a good start.

23.01.2022 Follow up from previous post. 2 weeks post install and going so well have it the first mow. Just enough to take tops off everything. Looking great

22.01.2022 Finally got the fence painted after completing the extension. Looks great from both sides and blends well with the home.

22.01.2022 Garden clean up done recently. Weeds are never great to have to pull out but the end result is always pleasing.

22.01.2022 Out with the old in with the new. Fresh instal of Soft Leaf Palmetto dome last week. Some soil and retic prep done the week before.

21.01.2022 The start of a front yard makeover. Out with the old, in with a blank template. Now for me to work with the owner on doing a low maintenance theme of succulents/yuccas/Agave/etc

21.01.2022 Not sure how Jason and his Momoa would have gone with this one. We used the whippers instead, came up ok.

21.01.2022 I look back on where we started with this one last year. Finally we have now given the owner another area that they can feel proud about. Taken a while before we could finish it but made it there. No matter what your place my look like now there is potential to clean up and do small things when you can to make it a home to admire

20.01.2022 Hey been a while between posts and I have a number to put up. Here is something to get started.

20.01.2022 If youve ever wondered if you can do it yourself here is proof that you can. Top photo about 2 months before bottom photo. Gives me a great feeling when I see a client achieve what they want. Happy to just give advice if that is all you are after. Something during this time to focus on and have some normality in your day.

20.01.2022 Must say Im pretty happy where this is at now. Bottom pic was what it looked like when we started full yard clean up. Once we had finished it was just pretty much sand out the front. Only stared concentrating on the front lawn about 9 months ago. Put retic in, treated weeds, mowed, fertilised, mowed, weeds, mowed, soil conditioner treatment, mow. This was only done on a monthly basis. It is all natural couch grass that has come through and each time I come is looking better and better. Saved them a lot of money not having to lay fresh turf but patience was required. I know for a fact that they love their front yard now!!!

20.01.2022 Feels good when you step back after a job and picture the before and after. Not much done on this job but the difference for the client was great!!!

18.01.2022 A bathroom clean and re-grout. Grout cut right and in places in shower no grout left, in places 3 different types of grout. Took shower screen out and cleaned around. Grouted again, siliconed and then cleaned down. Client very happy.

17.01.2022 Finish a mow for a new client and wondering who they use to keep their pool sparkling clean and who shows up. If you need your pool done give Phil and his team a call. https://www.facebook.com/PhilsSwimmingPoolMaintenance/

16.01.2022 THE HIDDEN LAWN You dont have to always spend thousands of $ to get a lawn and fix your yard. If you have patience then you could work to something like with have with this property. Been working on it with the owner for just over a year on and off and very happy where everything is now Final 2 Pics and will only get better moving forward.

16.01.2022 Was great to see a fantastic turn out at the Byford & Districts Country Club this morning, seeing the community come together to raise funds for such an important cause which is very close to our hearts here at Jayjays we’re stoked to have bought home a pretty special piece of historical ANZAC memorabilia Thanks to the BDCC for putting on this great event.

14.01.2022 Hope that everyone with the weather that we have had didnt have any issues with their gutters. I got 4 gutter jobs completed before the rain came, happy that I did otherwise some would have had issues.

14.01.2022 A front yard mini make over. Also gave back lawn a wetasoil & seasol treatment and spoke with owner on what needs to be done to get the front lawn back to looking mint. Will take a little while but will get there. Always happy to give advice if people are able to do stuff themselves to save money.

14.01.2022 Called out to front lawn soaking from water leak. Found that was main line to house that was connected to master solenoid. Over time the leak has worn away at the pipe until it had a small hole. Had to replace all fittings as everything had seized or broken off. New pipe, solenoid, shut off valve for retic put in and tested.

14.01.2022 There comes a time, it happens to all of us that things just become to much to stay on top of. Same with your yard it can be only 2 weeks from saying that I should really get out there and do something to its to much for me to get done now. When you clean it all back it is amazing how good it feels and looks. Side of house cleared, stone put down so can be a usable area now also. Client very happy with how it all looks.

12.01.2022 Put in poles and relocate clothes line from side of building to poles. Extend paving out so can use clothes line in new position, build retaining wall for paving. Pull up paving down side of house, build up levels due to falling away. Re-lay paving to area so wont fall away into garden.

12.01.2022 A couple of raised veggie beds this week. Treated pine/retain it corners and filled will quality veggie mix soil. We had to work around clients putting in more drainage for gutters but we got there.

12.01.2022 Gate install done recently. Decent 1.2m access to back yard now. Remove old part of fence put in posts to hold gate either side and tidy up small part beside house and fence return.

11.01.2022 Another paving job done for an older gentleman going through some treatment in and out of hospital each week. Make an area to put planter beds so can be closer to the house so he is still able to get some exercise walking around to them. We hope that you start to get better soon Jim so you can enjoy the area.

10.01.2022 Merry Christmas from our family to yours. Have a great day with family or friends

09.01.2022 A yard clean up and mulch done a few weeks ago.

09.01.2022 Paving job completed for a elderly lady on walking frame. Now she can spend time in the back yard a lot easier. Tend to the roses when they are flowering etc. Getting jobs like this finished and seeing the smile on their faces make it all worth the time etc to get done.

08.01.2022 A few of the jobs from past month that I actually remembered to take photos at.

07.01.2022 Front door replacement and frame repair a few weeks ago. Is good when I show an ex carpenter/door installer and my door supplier (Norms Doors in Maddington) and they say how good a job it is. Lever set put on for gentleman as cant hold onto normal handles anymore.

07.01.2022 We have a winner for our Jayjays Easter hamper, watch the video to see if it was you Special thanks to everyone who entered with likes, tags and shares, we appreciate you From our family to yours, wishing you all a happy and safe Easter. #Stayhome #Staysafe

04.01.2022 Yard clean up done is past few weeks.

04.01.2022 Issues you have when couch grass invades a garden and it isnt maintained. Cleaned these out at the start of the year and gave advice on how to keep it under control. Asked to come back and do a clean up about 6 months later and over run again. This time was able to give a good spray around paving and edges etc to help keep weeds and grass at bay for a while.

02.01.2022 Do you have some old bits and pieces around the yard. Why not reuse them and tidy up an area that is in need of a make over. Slabs reused from the client, purchase pea gravel to finish off the area so it blends in with area from the front.
