A precious little Collingwood baby was sound asleep whilst his beautiful mama enjoyed a well deserved fresh Blow wave during their stay at Epworth. Geez it’s been a crazy season of football...so many games going on. I don’t normally follow the footy but my family are the Hawks...I do remember however, dressing the kids up in their team colours especially for their primary school football day. Ahh memories! ... Early this morning I visited an expecting mama who at any time now will be having her baby. A beautiful home visit Blow wave was exactly what she’d dreamt of. I also pampered Melissa 16 months ago after having her first baby boy at Frances Perry, I will never forget lovely Melissa and her absolutely stunning hair!.. Straight after I zipped over to Sth Yarra to pamper a ...mum with a well overdue fresh Cut & Blowdry....HAPPY MAMAS! Who else would love to be pampered before or after baby arrives? 18.01.2022 Now who’s poking their little tongue out! Geez I’m missing my newborn baby cuddles and those sweet newborn baby smells. This is Bonnie who I met mid May last year when her amazing mama Bridget @midnightmums enjoyed every minute of a Head & Shoulder massage and a fresh Blow wave during their stay in hospital. ... It was so good meeting Bridget....we spoke all things motherhood, children, family and business and could’ve chatted all day! We have booked Jayne for both of our hospital stays and both times she has been exactly what the doctor ordered. Not only does she give the best foot massage, my husband can attest to the best neck and shoulder massage, but she is also so calm, kind, warm and loving. She is passionate about her role she plays in that... vital first week of being parents and she makes you feel so special. It is almost as though you have just made a wonderful friend after she has pampered you. She came to us last week and it was just like greeting a long lost pal. 17.01.2022 Most new mamas don’t have the strength or desire to Blow wave their own hair but on the other hand would really love to feel a little more like themselves again especially after baby arrives. This is beautiful Clare with her first born Joshua who absolutely loved a fresh Blow wave during her stay in hospital. I’ve visited Clare with both of her babies making her feel a million dollars. It really is so lovely to revisit the new mamas with their first, second and third babies.... 17.01.2022 Whilst my gorgeous little Mamas Angels biz is on hold until I get the go ahead....which I cannot wait for, I just thought I’d have a little chat about something else that’s been keeping me occupied. As some of you know, my hubby, Johnny decked out a gorgeous little Boutique Souvlaki Bar last December which resembles a Little Bit of MYKONOS in Ivanhoe! ... During COVID 19 we’ve remained open for takeaway and are so grateful that it’s been doing ok. It’s been really tough for most small businesses but thankfully we’ve been able to keep staff working and be open for service. Along side Mamas Angels, my job is to take care of the social media and marketing side of things which I actually really enjoy and keeps me busy....we have some amazing future ideas for the shop which I’ll look forward to sharing with you! 15.01.2022 Who else is a doggie lover? Actually I should say a pet lover. For those who know me know I’m quite obsessed with my Labradoodle Gypsy who will be 7 in August but still so puppy like. I remember before we had her, Noah was 12 and Yasmin was 6, I said my hubby Johnny, ‘Lets have another baby’, I already knew what the answer was going to be and yes it was no! Anyhow to cut a long story short we ended up with the sweetest little fur baby and we couldn’t be happier. ... I absolutely love my teddybear dog Gypsy, so loyal and always by my side. Especially during COVID, just having her there has been a good distraction, so good for mental health and self care. Two peas in a pod really. 13.01.2022 EXPECTING & NEW MAMAS...HOME VISITS ARE AVAILABLE! I have recently gone back to offering Home visits which feels amazing! So if your in need of a good Cut & Blow wave or a therapeutic Head & Shoulder or Foot Massage a home visit will be so good for you. ... Kirsten had her baby girl 4 weeks ago at St Vincent’s Private where I was going to visit her, and when the restrictions were put in place a home visit was the answer. Kirsten absolutely loved a well overdue Haircut and a relaxing Head & Shoulder massage saying that after feeding her baby girl, the tightness started to build...(which is common) so the massage was the perfect way to release any unwanted tension. During Kirsten’s pampering session baby Allara loved going for a walk in the pram with her amazing daddy and when home fell asleep to the humming sound of the hairdryer. 13.01.2022 Who’s still looking for that perfect Picnic blanket for the family? Look no further! I’ve been eyeing off these next level beauties for say .... 2 years and finally decided to buy myself this magnificent gift during Lockdown. This has been the best money spent. ... I live across the road from a great little park which has beautiful palm trees and is off leash for doggies Since lockdowns many families and friends have been gathering together and just having the best time. It really is so lovely to see and one of the things I hope stays with us.....YAY for picnics at the park! 10.01.2022 It’s was two years ago when I visited a new mum Sarah after she gave birth to her baby boy Edward. After receiving a gorgeous fresh Blow wave, Sarah though this was the best self care experience and would highly recommend to any expecting or new mama. Now this is the thing.....it’s not just about the Beautiful Blow wave or relaxing Massage then say goodbye, it’s about the special greeting, the manner, to nurture and give my special touch, an ear to listen to or a good chat... .....(love a good story) In many cases, it really does feel like I’m visiting a good friend that I’ve known for years and I feel so grateful to be amongst the families newborn bubble. 10.01.2022 A Little Bit About Moi! Hello there, Jayne here. I’ve had a few lovely new faces following along, so for those of you who don’t know me, I’d thought I’d have a bit of a chat. ... I’m a mama of two...Noah 20 who I met when he was just 2 and Yasmin is 14 who was conceived on the Island’s in Greece. I married Johnny in 2007 when Yasmin was 9 months and Noah 6 years old..with so many great memories I will never forget I went to Camberwell High School...and yes Danni Minogue was in my class....Haha, I secretly loved Young Talent Time! I left school early at 17 to become a hairdresser, but before I received my apprenticeship I worked in a Childcare centre for 6 months...,I’ve always adored children especially babies! Having worked in a couple of top Salons in Sth Yarra and in the Block Arcade in Melbourne, with 6 months of working in the Salon at Crown Towers when it first opened which was a great experience...and top $ in tips! I’m an absolute dog lover especially my labradoodle doggie Gypsy. She’s my beautiful Teddy bare fur baby and a great companion! Hands up if your with me here! Being a complete Empath, I can read minds and body language quite well and will cry at many TV shows.. The Voice, kids animation movies and all of the Instagram birth videos & stories gets me going every time. 10.01.2022 Wow, I remember this day so well. 2017 A new mama had booked a Blow wave during her stay at Epworth and before entering her room I was informed by the midwife that the electricity will be cut off in 25 minutes. So as quick as a flash I went into the new mamas room, set up my brushes and reassured her that I can do an amazing Blow wave from super curly to straight in 20 minutes. ... Presto! Very Happy Mama. 08.01.2022 First of all HAPPY & SAFE NEW YEAR! It just has to be better than the last! Here I am at my fabulous expecting mamas home to do what I love the most, to nurture, pamper and have a good chat....meanwhile the front door and dress screamed out ‘take a photo’! I first met Melissa when she treated herself to a gorgeous Blow wave after she had her son Arlo in August 2019 at Frances Perry House. The blow dry topped it off and made her feel so good! ... Next week Mel is booked to have her second baby via C-section and due to Drs orders she’ll be in complete rest until little miss arrives. Mel has been struggling to wash and Blowdry her own hair so my home visits have been her saviour. It’s been really lovely visiting Melissa at her home and helping her out in the hair and self care department and look forward to one more Blow wave before babe arrives! WHO’S HAVING A BABY IN 2021? 05.01.2022 It’s such a strange time now, I’m beginning to feel slightly trapped in my own home, not being able to freely visit the ones I love. This image was taken Jan 2017 with my two favourite girls, Yia yia Irene and daughter Yasmin when we were completely free to hug and hold hands and when social distancing was no such a thing. On the other hand I am incredibly grateful that we’re all safe and healthy and are allowed to spend an hour a day to exercise and to be out in the... fresh air...I mean what a superb Winter we’re having, the suns been out most days and now the blossom trees are starting to bloom. We all must try to stay positive and hopeful during this pandemic and stay connected with your loved ones....thank goodness for FaceTime. 05.01.2022 Who else can relate to this? This was an oldie but a goodie, a message to the new mamas during their stay in hospital, that I would be there for them, to come to their own private room and Blow wave their hair. What I really love about what I do is to make the new mamas feel pampered and nurtured and after a beautiful...and some may say therapeutic Blow wave they will look into the mirror and feel more like themselves again. ... Whilst in lockdown I often think about the amazing new families I’ve crossed paths with who’ve also made me feel so good and love within myself....What I give I get back in return which is a blessing. In the meantime, my advice to expecting mamas is to pack DRY SHAMPOO and a hair tie, if your not up to blow drying your own hair you can pop your hair up in a ponytail or a bun. 02.01.2022 It was such a beautiful morning visiting a new mama at her home for a long overdue pamper session. Last October 2019 a ran a fabulous promotion for the new mamas and Sasha quickly booked herself the LUXE PACKAGE....Blow wave, an extended Head & Shoulder massage (and l threw in a sneaky little trim.) Sasha was due to have her baby in April and unfortunately due to the lockdowns I was unable to visit. ... Now her baby girl is 7 months and Sasha just couldn’t wait to be pampered and couldn’t believe how much better she felt. 02.01.2022 WOW, I just can’t believe another year has gone by!.....so it’s a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me! This year looks quite different to the last when I ran a fabulous birthday promotion for the new mamas, and I promise I have many more up my sleeve when the time is right. But for now, right in this present moment in time...masks and all..I’m really enjoying the simple things in life. I’m enjoying cooking new dishes...hanging out with the family..practicing patience and mindfulness and o...f course daily exercise to keep my silly anxieties at bay. To tell you the truth I’ve always loved my birthday, the word October, the star sign Libra, and the ongoing vision of the scales that are forever tilting up and down. This is me to a tea and thankfully I know and love who I am. 01.01.2022 It really is so special pampering the new mamas. I love that they have their own unique story and most of all love that they’re taking some time out for themselves. A bit of self care goes along way with all of us, especially after having a baby. I remember so well visiting Stephanie during her stay in hospital, her husband had organized the LUXE PACKAGE as a gift which she absolutely loved. 01.01.2022 Baby Otis has awoken from his sleep and magically his mama has a beautiful fresh Blow wave. Sweet memories of when I pampered a brand new mama twice during her stay at the Park Hyatt after she had her precious baby boy at Epworth. Otis’s mama Helen couldn’t wait for me to Blow wave her hair at home saying it was the best service and booked in weekly Blow waves for the following few months. ...
