25.01.2022 I’m going home!! Woohoo! Was so bored in hospital so I’m happy to be headed home. Good news is I’m ok and they think they’ve figured out what’s going on! Bad news is no driving for a week or so! For my clients who are booked in I’ll be in touch to organise either an online appointment or possibly a you come to me situation and at this time I won’t be taking new bookings till mid December. 23.01.2022 Good morning lovely mummas! This week has certainly been interesting! I’m currently out for the count in hospital with some heart issues and I’ve had to cancel appointments for the last 2 days. I’ll keep everyone updated, but my books are currently closed till I’m sorted and home. How lucky are we to live to in a country with brilliant healthcare! I’m feeling very grateful for our paramedics, doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff.

23.01.2022 I am so putting it out there! I need an investor! Someone who wants to help support my small business and support breastfeeding mums! I really want to get a laser to provide photobiomodulation for mothers suffering from nipple pain/damage, blocked ducts and mastitis. However, the costs of a laser are not cheap. The benefits this will provide the clients I see, plus other IBCLC's clients, would be huge! So if you or anyone you know is interested in supporting me I would love to hear from you!! If I don't put it out there and ask I will never know! For now, I continue to save what I can to be able to add this service to my practice. If anyone wants to read the research or have a chat to me further just PM me.

12.01.2022 Heads Up!! It has been busy lately!! I am fully booked till 9th of November and even that week is filling up fast! I do only have limited days available, I physically cannot work 5 days a week with my current commitments and coming into the end of the year life is just getting busier and busier. Wait lists are available but spots rarely come up. So please don't wait to book in till last minute, and I know breastfeeding issues aren't always predictable! If I am unavailable you can find other IBCLCs in your area on the Find A Lactation Consultant page by LCANZ https://www.lcanz.org/find-a-lactation-consultant/ or many of the local child health clinics do have some breastfeeding support available that may get you through till you can see me.

10.01.2022 I had a thought today, half way through my workout. Right when I want to stop and not keep going. Right when my brain tried to tell me I simply couldn’t finish. That when we think we have a limit, it’s simply a belief that we can’t do anymore, keep going or find a way through it. Training with @intuitiveintelligenceinstitute @kelleigh.wallace Jason and Andy I’ve learnt that I can smash through those limits and in turn it’s taught me to keep believing that I actually don’t have any limits. Is it the desire to document an experience? Or a need to use words to make sense of a situation? Is it the yearning to express oneself en...tirely? Or the joy of using words in arrangements, creating harmony, cadence, and resolution? Writers are those who find comfort in penning their thoughts. They are the ones who see a story in every smile, nuance, or interaction; they are the contributors to our tales of history, mythology, spirituality, and tradition. They are the ones who will pass on today's story to the future in leather-bound journals on mahogany library shelves; in travel blogs written from far away places; in fables, fairy tales and folklore; and in sonnets, verse, and prose. They will pass it on in screenplays, satire and novels; in libretto, lyric and speech; through translations, lexicography, and biography; and in essays, columns, and laws. 01.01.2022 I am not surprised by the synchronicity of this sacred 13 card by @kristyjamiesonintuitivedesign , I actually laughed when I pulled it because the priestess is certainly waiting patiently for me to start the next chapter of my journey. And the closer I get to starting the third level training with the @intuitiveintelligenceinstitute the more excited and slightly terrified I get. I can see and feel the bridge just beneath my feet, one foot on it and the other firmly planted ...on the earth but the time is coming to have both feet on that bridge and knowing that the priestess is waiting for me makes facing my fears exciting. For now I’m biding my time, soul searching, resting and connecting in between work and mothering. I’m finding joy and clarity in silence on my walks, peace in movement during my workouts. And a deep faith as I come into alignment. 01.01.2022 My middle child, my nearly 11year old, regularly asks me if I could have any super power what would it be? My answer is always the same! To be able to stop time! That way I can nap whenever I want, have time out just for me, finish all the courses I want to do or read the ever growing pile of books I want to read! Case in point these 2 new arrivals to complement the Compassion Focused Therapy for Perinatal Health Professionals training I am currently doing with @spiltmilkp...sych This training has honestly been a game changer for my work as a #lactationconsultant and all health professionals who work even a tiny bit with expectant mothers, new mothers or any mother really should be doing it!
