05.01.2022 Bio. 'Double Take play a smooth style of jazz from the great American songbook. Over the last few years the band has performed regularly at jazz festivals, bars and at 'Jazz on the Hill' at the Sorrento Boat Club. The band line up can change depending on the gig but generally comprises the vivacious and popular jazz vocalist, Annie Smith supported by Charles Paine on acoustic double bass and Alan Clayton on jazz guitar. The band performs jazz standards from songwriters such as Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern, George Gershwin and Hoagy Carmichael. Annie and Double Take enjoy bringing to life a smooth brand of jazz to our audiences.'
