24.01.2022 So important! What is diversity? https://kidsactivitiesblog.com/23747/what-is-diversity/

24.01.2022 I just had to post these samples of my children's work. I am so proud that most of my children have skills like name writing, have creative minds for drawing, and have more then basic knowledge of numeracy and literacy skills before they start Kindy. I wish them well moving forward into Kindy and school next year.

23.01.2022 Spinning comps seemed to be a focus yesterday the childrèn were imaginative, competitive, supportive of each other, learnt new ideas from each other and much more all with building toys called Knex.

23.01.2022 Frog on a Lilly pad. Building on our frog focus, with spreading icing on a cookie. Supporting fine motor skills, life skills and enjoying a treat.

22.01.2022 Building on our indoor garden, we have been making egg shell people. The children have been excited about watching our seeds grow, and learning about parts of plants. Supporting learning and understanding around things that grow.

22.01.2022 Just being children and learning through play, and pushing the limits for a challenge.

21.01.2022 Helping out, children doing the lunch dishes while Julieanne gets to play. It's delight to swap roles. Hahahaha great work everyone.

21.01.2022 Some of our children have taken interest in wanting to learn their name, so we have been exploring ways to practice name writing and recognising letter. Supporting literacy and building confidence.

19.01.2022 Celebrating NAIDOC week at play group. Learning more about another culture. Building on Aboriginal stories about Australian animals. Also learning about the flag and the meaning of the colours.

18.01.2022 Our yellow bee happy day. On the day we made bee wings, yellow food and wore yellow outfits. Just a small part of learning around bees. Building on our colours, fine motor and eating hadits.

18.01.2022 Making lunch with some helpers, great life skills. These children will be cooking at home before you know it.

12.01.2022 Program set up for the next few weeks will be focused around frogs. Below are the experiences for the week, learning about the life cycle of a frog. If any of our families have anything that we can use to support our focus please bring it along this week. Looking forward to getting our new tank set for our new tadpoles, and watching them grow.

11.01.2022 Seed planting, we have been collecting seeds from our fruits and vegetables for the pass few weeks. Today we planted them and now we will care for them and that they grow, building on caring for our environment and understanding the natural process of growing food.

11.01.2022 From 7 Aug 2020, it will be mandatory for children attending an early childhood service to be up-to-date with vaccinations. Parents are required to provide appr...oved immunisation records upon enrolment, and at other specific ages throughout the childs attendance at: childcare centres family day care pre-schools kindergartens early learning centres Early childhood services are also required to keep a copy of all approved immunisation records for the duration a child is enrolled in their service. Retaining immunisation records onsite will enable a faster response time during a vaccine preventable disease outbreak, and help protect vulnerable children. An approved immunisation record is a childs immunisation history statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR): https://bit.ly/31tPvw9 Check the AIR to see your childs records, and talk to your immunisation provider to ensure your child is fully immunised. 06.01.2022 Our tadpoles have arrived. Following on from cycles of life, we are now looking at a frogs life. Starting with tadpoles we are hoping that we will soon see some little legs. The children are excited to have new pets and to be able to watch them gròw.
