25.01.2022 Year 2 had a wonderful day on Smile Day last week! During their Library lesson, students participated in learning centres to respond to the text, ‘When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney’, by James Grafton. The students displayed excitement and creativity in so many different ways! Well done year 2!

04.01.2022 Throughout the year, students from John the Baptist took part in the Numerical Acumen Challenges. Numerical Acumen is an online program that builds your mental recall of facts and the speed and accuracy at which you do this. We are so excited to announce that JB had: 22 students receive the CASIO Achievement Award - Performance 21 students receive the CASIO Achievement Award - Improvement ... 24 students receive the CASIO Achievement Award - Dedication. Several of our students were also recognised as Inspirational students in the various categories. In addition to this, we had one class receive the 'Heel Snapper' Inspirational Class Awards, 7 classes receive Motivated Class Awards and one class receive the Inspirational Class of the Year Award. Finally, John the Baptist was awarded the Inspirational School of the Year Award for the collective efforts of all students who took part in the challenge.
