18.01.2022 The Styer Scout rifle is a different machine when it comes to bolt action rifles. I This example is chambered in .376 Styer and was a bit of a handful in a light outfit so the owner wanted a custom threaded VENOM S1 22mm body brake fitted. He also had ideas for a cerakote colour scheme that sounded pretty cool. First job was making a custom tool in order to remove the barrel from it's unique assembly so that it could be set up properly in the lathe. With that out of the way a...nd the brake fit and timed it was onto the Cerakote job. The metalwork and other bits and pieces were done in H-series Armor Black and the hand cut stencil tiger stripe pattern is done in Federal Brown and Desert Sand. See more

18.01.2022 A dedicated long range hunting rifle needs to be accurate, powerful, and not too heavy to be carried in mountain terrain. ....This week we finished another fine example for a hardcore hunting customer. Chambered in the punchy .300PRC round and built on a Lone Peak RAZOR Magnum action I'm sure this rig will deliver the goods in some far away places. The stock is a Manners MCS Hunting stock, the 26" barrel is a Fluted #4 Contour Alpha 1 Stainless. The Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 wit...h Ballistic turret mounted in the excellent rigid and lightweight Talley ring-mounts is a perfect match for such a capable rifle All metal work has been finished in H-146 Graphite Black CERAKOTE for unmatched durability and the Bolt and internals have been Micro-slicked. This package - with three rounds loaded in the magazine comes in a tad over 4.0kg - light enough to pack and hefty enough to be able to be manageable without a brake. See more

12.01.2022 Our latest build is sure create a stir in the loins of any long range hunter! Built on another Lone Peak Razor action, this 28 Nosler will be perfect medicine for it's owner who intends to put it to good use in the Victorian high country next season. Load development will start shortly and we're again expecting big things from the 175Gn ELDX's that are waiting to be pushed through it. Enjoy!

05.01.2022 The Tikka T3X is an increasingly popular choice on the range and in the field. This week we treated a T3x In 6.5Creedmoor with a Five colour Multicam Cerakote pattern on the stock body, Armor Black on the metalwork as well as Micro-slicking of the bolt body and internals. One of our VENOM S1-4 Port brakes was also fitted. This package is going to be nice to shoot and virtually maintenance free. (You could say that it looks pretty sexy as well). Cheers, JB
