23.01.2022 Dear FB followers just a heads up for you, Benalla Fire Brigade and Benalla Fire Brigade Group currently have personnel working at both ends of the state fighti...ng fires, so please spare a thought for our firefighters this NYE as they work to defend against these fires and protect our communities. Also please heed the warnings when given regarding leaving or staying! Were asking you to please take extra care with your NYE activities, if your having a BBQ check that everything is working correctly, If your having a celebratory drink then don't drive and look out for each other. And as we've already highlighted! Were asking you please don't use illegal fireworks this NYE, And if someone say's it'll be OK, NO IT WON'T call them out on it! Were also asking that you don't leave your campfires burning unattended, and when you head home make sure it's out " Cold to Touch - Safe to Leave" we've lost enough of our bush already.
