23.01.2022 Nora is handling her newly started career under saddle very well! She is learning quickly and really starting to relax!

22.01.2022 All the horses were very well behaved today! Pearl, Nora and Harmony are all ticking along nicely and Cilla is getting much stronger!

21.01.2022 ADVERTISING FOR LEASE ON BEHALF OF CLIENT ***Fawks Popstar aka ‘Poppy’*** Poppy is a beautifully bred Sec. D Welsh Cob 5yo mare. ... Poppy is 15hh approx and has excellent movement and temperament to match. Poppy was previously training 65cm jump courses, leg yield, W/T/C and learning to soften into a contact. Over the last 4 months Poppy has mostly been working on a long rein doing basic flat work. She is very respectful of the aids, excellent brakes and accelerator. Currently feels a bit green but shouldn’t take long to get her back up and running. Ridden in a snaffle, good ground manners, free lunges and can be ridden tackless. She is a very sweet and playful mare who loves to spend time with people. She is barefoot and is excellent for the farrier, to worm and wash. Poppy has been ridden by green and experienced riders. The owner is looking for some who is confident and can bring out the best in Poppy. See more

18.01.2022 Grid work for the ponies today! This is Cilla’s first attempt at grid work for over a year and she did super! The oxer is 80cm and the yellow vertical is 85cm. Cilla is currently schooling 85cm and oxers as wide as 120cm. She will soon be looking for her new home so keep your eyes peeled !!

16.01.2022 It was super to catch up with Victoria and her two OTT mares Cleo and Jewel, I even got to give them a quick school at the end of the lessons and was very pleased with how the two are coming along!

14.01.2022 ***WANTED LEASE OR BUY PONY*** Requirements: - Quiet, Calm and easy going temperament ... -Safe around young kids - Around 12hh -Aged 7-13 -minimal education is fine as long as it quiet and sensible. -must be safe in hand as well as under saddle This pony will be ridden by a 7 year old and a 5 year old girl for lessons, pony club and trails. They are just starting off the lead. Not looking for a flashy, highly educated pony as there is a limited budget.

12.01.2022 I am so thrilled with Pearl’s progress this week! No rearing, bucking or anything of the sort. We still have a long way to go but to have this breakthrough is just amazing. She feels so much happier and forward I can’t wait to see what we can achieve. The last photo was Pearl back in December when I was working through the worst of her rearing! Hopefully we can keep moving in the right direction!

12.01.2022 Had a blast teaching down at Nunawading Horse & Pony Club the other week!

12.01.2022 A few pics from one of my of my favourite pairs to teach in their lesson today!

11.01.2022 First time with a rider for baby Nora... she was so relaxed and didn’t put a foot wrong!

09.01.2022 @Brooke Hunter and Chocolate in their Show Jump lesson this evening down at 5 star!

07.01.2022 Harmony is one of the young breakers in my training at the moment. She is just at the very beginning and is learning to relax with her gear on as well as getting used to me fussing all around her. Only day two but I am very impressed with her sensible attitude!

03.01.2022 After two weeks of lunging, ground work, familiarisation and desensitisation I sat on Harmony for the first time! She handled it like a champ!

03.01.2022 I am so happy with the progress of Chocolate and Brooke. When Chocolate first began his training with me Brooke was scared to handle him in even the most basic of situations because Chocolate was aggressive and pushy towards people. After weeks of intensive ground work training with myself, Brooke then began weeks of intensive Groundwork lessons. Chocolate then had a well needed tune up under saddle and has now returned home. The results are just amazing! Chocolate has rea...lly relaxed and is so much more responsive and polite! Brooke has overcome her fears and is now able to do anything with Chocolate. So happy to see this boy at home again with his family doing well!! I’m sure this pair will face more challenges but I am confident that they both have the skills they need to overcome just about anything! Well done Brooke Hunter you have done such an amazing job and have come so far! Debbie Hunter
