20.01.2022 UPDATE, for those wondering, the Liberals and Nationals just SUPPORTED this bill. I’ve listened to the debate on this bill, clearly those of the Liberal National Coalition hate campers in particular. Making it abundantly clear that they also don’t care for hunters, fishers and other outdoor users, as they are trying to block them from accessing land they are currently using. I usually get that from The Greens. Having said that, there are a lot of people who have valid concer...ns about the legislation as they’ve been given a horror stories of what might happen by a very irresponsible Opposition. There will be regulations to compliment this legislation, the regulations will deal with issues and in some cases, will even stop camping in inappropriate spots. Anyone that feels they will be affected by these changes should get involved in the creation of the regulations. I'll post the link when its available.

20.01.2022 We may not be able to gather together as one to remember them, but we will remember them! #lestweforget

18.01.2022 Duck Season Petition: http://bit.ly/DuckSeason2021 FULL SEASON & FULL BAG LIMIT After one of the wettest years in recent history and a minimal 2020 season due to COVID, there are going to be plenty of Ducks around. This is why I've sponsored a petition to call on the government to announce a Full Duck Season with a Full Bag Limit for 2021 ASAP.

13.01.2022 Today I voted against Andy Meddick’s motion that would see the release of cats into the wild to continue killing native wildlife, through a Trap, Neuter and Release program. What surprised me most, was that I was in the minority of those opposing this, one of only 3 MP’s. #becausemeddick #huntersprotectingtheenvironment #hunterconservation #feralcats

13.01.2022 The proposed Animal Welfare Bill is "It's just a Directions Paper for public consultation at this stage" from a government source. This doesn't mean we can just sit back and wait to see what pops out of the government, on the contrary, we have to get to work and make sure that the new bill works at least as well as the current POCTA act and transfers all of our exemptions across. This doesn't just threaten hunters, it threatens anyone with an animal based enterprise or, in the worst case scenario, companion animals. The link to what is out at the moment is here: https://bit.ly/2I2yjXp

09.01.2022 It was an honour to have known Rod Drew and it was my privelage to honour him in Parliament today. I met Rod Drew in 2013/2014 whilst on my journey to Perliament. Rod was always easy to deal with and had a keen insight.

08.01.2022 GMA trials a new Duck Aerial Survey... After viewing the map of the flight path, I asked the minister, why is the Werribee Treatment Plant (home to one of the largest population of ducks in Australia), not listed? Join me to call on the government to announce a Full Duck Season with a Full Bag: https://bit.ly/DuckSeason2021... #duckhunting #FullSeason #Fullbag

06.01.2022 The battle lines for the 2021 Duck Hunting Season have well and truely been drawn. Today the Animal Justice Party AJP Victoria read in a motion to cancel the 2021 season. Show your support for #duckseason2021 by adding your name to call on the government to announce the season ASAP here: https://bit.ly/DuckSeason2021 (Vic Residents only) Not a Vic Resident? Then please share, like and tag your Victorian friends to help.

06.01.2022 Game Licences and Gun Licenses for both junior and senior Victorians need to be brought into line with other recreational licenses such as those for fishing. They are similar activities, therefore the same concessions should be applied to shooters.

05.01.2022 Where are the Volunteer Firefighters? With the Bushfire Season upon us, it is important to know where we stand. Thats why I want to know how many Volunteer Firefighters we have in Victoria, as they are our most important firefighting resource.

04.01.2022 When Big Money and Big Unions attack Duck Hunting, we need to fight back. Sign our petition to show your support: https://bit.ly/DuckSeason2021
