15.01.2022 Evening all weve got some exciting news our rugby season is a go!! Below is an announcement from Rugby WA. Dear Rugby Community Club Leaders,... I am pleased to advise that we now have confirmation from the Premier that we will move to the next stage of the COVID Recovery Plan. This will enable our sport to recommence full contact training from Next Saturday 6th June. There will likely be a range of control that we will still need to administer and plan for. We understand that these details will be issued early next week. To assist in understanding these I will host a teleconference on Tuesday 3rd June commencing at 1730. As per the last meeting I will send an outlook calendar invitation to you all and you can accept/decline pending your availability. If you wish to include any additional club leaders in that meeting you will be free to forward the invitation to them as well. In the meeting the intent will to present an overview of the updated Plan for Rugby and the requirements that Clubs, Players will need to adhere to in this transition. This is good news and will enable us all to carry forward with the current plans to conduct a season at both Junior and Senior levels. This earlier transition to full contact training will enable a 4 week training period for clubs to safely transition all levels of players back into full contact training/playing. The dates for the respective season are: Juniors; Round 1 Sat 4th July. Rounds carry through to 4th October. A bye on 10th Oct. Grand Finals (1 v 2) on ladders on Sat 17th October. Seniors; Round 1 Sat 4th July Round 13 Sat 26th Sep Semi Finals Sat/Sun 3/4 Oct Grand Finals Sat/Sun 10/11 Oct. I will look forward to communicating more specific details of the plan when we have these confirmed by the Government. Again I appreciate your patience as this information comes out. Regards Bob,
15.01.2022 Afternoon all I hope this email finds you all well. we will commence rugby training tomorrow at 5:30 to 7 pm at Christchurch Park, You are to provide your own water bottle, a towel. Please ensure you bring enough water. There will be no balls allowed at training for this week only. Depending on numbers at training, we will have three groups of no more than 10 people in a group and that includes a coach.... When players arrive at the field I expect them to exercise social distancing there shall be no greetings, as an older age group we have to set the example for the younger ones. If you find that you cannot abide by these rules please do not to come to training. You can join us once its back to normal If it ever does. I have no idea when the season will start that information will flow down the channels in the next week or two. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact any of they coaches

14.01.2022 On behalf of the U18 squad we would like to thank Tama for all his superb efforts in putting together "The Amazing race" yesterday. All the boys and parents involved enjoyed it and it was a perfect bonding day ahead of the upcoming delayed season. Thank you to the coaches for assisting Tama and the volunteers who were at their venues with the activities in place . Also a big thank you to the drivers who have to get the boys to their next destination. A special mention to Melissa Young (Tamas wife) who also put in a lot of effort in helping him put this event together, it is hugely appreciated and we thank you!
