09.01.2022 Still one of the greatest memories of the state juniors this under 12 kids rocks up to the states with a short pink cue and has only been playing for 3 months and blows us all away taking out the u12 champion with style. States coming this Saturday I wonder if I’ll see another one of these.

01.01.2022 Country Week 2020 Recap, First of all i want to thank all of the players for participating in this years Country Week even with all the COVID-19 dramas it looked like this event was not going to happen but i'm glad we were able to come together and have an amazing weekend. FRIDAY NIGHT saw a great productive meeting which saw the delegates all voting on putting together a team to draw up Country Week Bylaws which will be located on the WAEBF website.... Also adding a new member to the Country Reps. Our Country reps are now Michelle Francis, Russell Sedgewick and Jeremy Bower for a 2 year period Congratulations to our new reps. The new format of Country week saw us playing the Singles on the Friday night the Ladies singles ran all the way to the Final stages QUARTER FINALS Michelle Francis vs Janet Bartlett with Michelle winning 3-1 Nadine White vs Katrina Vincent with Nadine winning 3-0 Lisa Perkins vs Marg Brown-Davies with Marg winning 3-1 Christine Steere vs Kyra Rikys with Kyra winning 3-1 SEMI FINALS Michelle Francis vs Nadine White with Michelle winning 3-0 Marg Brown-Davies vs Kyra Rikys with Kyra winning 3-0 The Open singles went through to the Last 32 Saturday we hit it off with a Captains meeting and Alan Ballard giving everyone a run down of Poolstat, Thank you Alan you done a great job you were there all weekend to help out and Poolstat ran well. The teams kicked off and the atmosphere was electric. We had an amazing team in the Kitchen cooking up a storm and the volunteers working the Bar, shop, collecting the bins and watching the entry and exits and streaming.Thank you all you have done a great job. SATURDAY NIGHT we got back into the Open singles QUARTER FINALS Jasley Dimer vs Aaron Cross with Jasley winning 3-2 Lockie Smith vs James Rocky Hammond with Rocky winning 3-0 Adrian Lancaster vs Grant Weekley with Grant winning 3-2 Neil-J Dimer vs Graeme Tuffley with Neil-J winning 3-1 SEMI FINALS Jasley vs Rocky with Rocky winning 3-0 Grant vs Neil-J with Neil-j winning 3-2 SUNDAY we got back into the Team with some amazing pool played by all lots of very close games and some Nail Bitters. Then back into the singles for the Grand Finals we saw the ladies Kyra Rikys vs Michelle Francis with Kyra winning 4-1 Kyra becoming the Ladies Country Week Champion 2020 Then we had the Open Singles title at the same time with Neil-J Dimer vs Rocky Hammond with Rocky winning 4-1 Rocky becoming the Open Country Week Champion 2020 You can find the results of the Teams and Singles attached to the images. The Champion town award went to BUNBURY !!!!!!!! Thank you to the WAEBF and all the people who helped make the weekend such a success and can't wait till next year And a huge thank you to Jason Dimer for taking all these amazing photos and Ros Johnson for her photos also
