14.01.2022 Start the work week off with some exercise, as it is lovely weather today. Whether it be a walk, run, or sprint, movement improves stability, balance, muscle strength, and mood. Stretch as well to maintain muscle health. High intensity exercise will also better activate your human growth hormone (HGH). HGH decreases as we age, and it has so many benefits: Strengthens bones, builds muscle, better sleep, burns fat, stimulates immune system, and many more.

Here are some reasons why too much sitting can be bad for you:... - Neck & back pain - Poor posture - Hip imbalance (don't cross those legs!) - Weight gain, which can lead to a higher risk of heart disease and diabetes Tips to avoid sitting too much: - Stand at your desk when possible or use a standing desk - Take the stairs rather than an elevator - Set a timer to ensure you get up every 45/60 mins at the very least - Walk around when on the phone - Go for a run, march on the spot, basically, get moving!
