24.01.2022 Something looks crispy We attended an urgent job for a real estate client, as one of their tenants reported having no power. A rat had crawled into the back of the switchboard. It would of got zapped and then trapped, causing the RCD's to trip and power loss as a result.... Mice and rats are attracted to the warmth and shelter provided by electrical equipment. They can chew on wires, build nests, and cause all sorts of damage. So It's important to have your switchboard completely sealed to prevent rodent and water damage.

23.01.2022 ELECTRICAL SAFETY We found this very dangerous situation on a recent job. The customer complained of a burning smell coming from a switch. We attended the site quickly to find a light switch to be completely burned out, this could have been a lot more serious if the customer had left any longer.... If you suspect any burning smells, have broken light switches or power points we recommend replacing them. While onsite we can also conduct a full electrical safety inspection of your smoke alarms, RCD’s and earthing systems.

02.01.2022 SWITCHBOARD UPGRADE We completed a full house renovation for a client in Maddington. Complete with a three-phase surface mount switchboard upgrade. We removed the old ceramic fuses, upgraded all circuit protection with compliant RCD's. The client will now have plenty of room for future expansion.
