04.01.2022 The Lord bless you every truly Godly Woman and Wife. You are a glory to you husband and your Lord. Shame on you every cowardice, weak man who has not maned up to be the spiritual leader in your home, who is too weak and unloving enough to lead and love his Wife in truth, to not only support her in the good but to lovingly confront her and challange her in her folly and sin. The collateral damage is untold and intergenerational. When you do not love God enough to pluck up the courage to love your Wife in the tender love and care of encouragement and the tough love and care of confrontation, you do not love her or God much at all. God and Godly Women want Godly Men who will put aside the selfish path of least resistence and Man up to love God first and lead their special ladies in Godliness in Christ.
04.01.2022 1Samuel 3:13 - "For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not." God warned Eli of the sin of his Sons who acted as Priests and were immoral. Eli failed to correct - to place limits on their behaviour. His failure as a parent, a Father to discipline his Sons resulted in intergenerational consequences. Eli took the cowards way, a way that did not help his Son, God's p...eople or society in general. It is the easy way, the 'non-confrontational' way, the 'conflict avoidance way' the 'im your friend, not a parent way', the 'keep popular way' and it cost big time. God eventually killed Eli's Son's in judgement and the curse of their sin and Eli's failure as a parent impacted for generations to follow. Our society today is full of immoral children of all ages, including adults like Eli's Sons who have been failed by gutless parents who have refusecd to address their behaviour and set limits. This is NOT LOVE, it is selfishness, and an immorality of its own that is unwilling to love enough to apply real tough love. May we learn from Eli's failure, and seek grace and mercy where we have fallen, and pursue restoration from this point on. See more
