24.01.2022 Shout out to Mole Creek Primary School Year 6 class that held a fundrasier last week raising money for those affected by the Lebanon Explosion. This day was initiated as a Change Project following a JCP Program in the school. We were so upset we couldnt make it - but were able to connect with students online! Well done TEAM !!

24.01.2022 We have engaged every student from years 7-12 at Deloraine High School in a 6 week program. The content is all about creating genuine change in their own lives and the lives of others. In collaboration with Collective ed. Meander Valley The year 11-12 class challenged Will to a bed making contest after delivering the State of your head is the state of your bed content. ... He returned to the office with an inflated ego and said he destroyed them all .....

23.01.2022 Did you know JCP Empowering Youth (BEAST Program) has been selected as a semi finalist in the Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards? Winners announced in November 2020.

22.01.2022 Genuine Impact is a series of videos that is played in our school seminars. We thought we would share this episode to celebrate Terry Roles induction into the Tasmanian Racing Hall of Fame. Congratulations Terry on this great acheivement. This episode is titled "My Lasting Message".

JCPs inspiration to him has been life changing and I will forever be grateful that you gave him this opportunity to open his mind to his talents and what he can do with them.

Then you and I have something in common. ...I was honoured to attend the graduation ceremony for 10 young men from the JCP Empowering Youth "Beast" program. And like everyone else from the families, mentors and supporters, I felt very blessed to think about the great start in life I was able to have, and blessed to meet some people who are making Tasmania an even better place to live. 05.01.2022 Tonight Jess Greene, Labor candidate for Rosevears and I had the honour to be present for the graduation of 10 impressive young leaders in our community who hav...e participated in the JCP Empowering Youth program. The night was hosted by founder, Will Smith, who spoke with such conviction about the leadership qualities of each of the young men and their progress over the past 10 months. It was inspiring. Well done to all the graduates and all the very best for the future.

01.01.2022 Have you met Jack? Jack is from the North West Coast. His goal for the remainder of 2020 is to be a better person and be kind to everyone. Jacks mum wrote a letter to Jack whilst he was on programs with JCP and we want to share a small snippet: "Jacks best qualities are his willingness to always try new things no matter what, but mostly it is his undeniable ability to always help those in need with whatever it is they need help with, he will go above and beyond for anyone ...in need of assistance". Jack is a recent graduate from the BEAST Program and has come a long way from the time we shot this video. WE LOVE JACK!

01.01.2022 Did you catch BEAST on the Front Page of The Examiner Newspaper, Launceston ? Our BEAST participants and mentors want to show our appreciation to the Rotary Club of Central Launceston for naming the program as the receipients of this years raised funds. Sallys Ride started in 2002 when Sally Fletcher rode 1400km solo around Tasmania raising funds for mental health in Tasmania. ... In 2009, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Central Launceston, the event was expanded to create The Tamar Valley Cycle Challenge. Funds raised from the Cycle Challenge are distributed to local charities who proactively assist mental health causes and the Rotary Club of Central Launceston.
