13.01.2022 Hi Bubblers! Thank you to everyone who tuned in to the Facebook Live this evening, and an extra big thank you to all of the nominees who ran for a position!! You all made amazing speeches, and we wish you good luck for tomorrow. We just want to remind you about the amendments to our code of conduct that will be on our voting sheets tomorrow for you to agree (or disagree on). Usually we do a show of hands at the normal AGM, but we've got to use voting sheets this time! Basic...ally what you will be voting on is: - An amended environmental impact statement regarding the values of the club. - The Code of Conduct regarding more rules for safety, harassment of any kind, discrimination of any kind and/or other issues. The 2020 committee has also amended the annual membership system to assist with future membership sign-up procedures. These changes include; - Annual memberships will now operate on a semesterly basis e.g, if you purchase an annual membership at the start of the year, it will expire in the February of the following year and likewise if you purchase a membership during the mid-year, it will expire in July 2022. This will remove the issue of membership confusion. - All members that sign-up after the AGM and before Feb 2021 will have their memberships extended to Feb 2022, and so on And lastly, congratulations to the winner of our Yongala Day Trip raffle, Matthew Dooley (you'll get an official email, don't ya worry)! We hope to see you all at the shed tomorrow between 5pm and 7:30pm to vote!!
