16.01.2022 This week our Bachelor and Master degree tourism students were taken out to the heritage-listed, Boggo Road Gaol Prison for a field trip. This was their first field trip after a very challenging 2020. The students got to have this unique experience of taking a historical guided tour of the prison and learning about the history and tourism. 06.01.2022 The JCUBSA is offering a subsidised brunch (breakfast / lunch) and trek from the Brisbane Botanic Gardens to Mt Coot-tha Lookout. This event is subsidised through the SSAF Health and Creative Club. We will start our trek from Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha and conclude it at the Mt Coot-tha Lookout, where we will proceed to have our brunch. The whole trek may last for roughly 45mins to an hour depending on our overall pace and weather conditions.... - . NOTE: Only available to current JCU Brisbane students.
