18.01.2022 The JCW Electrical Group has reached final completion at the Westrac Autonomous Training Centre in Collie. In partnership with the legendary local Bunbury company Piacentini & Son, we assisted with the initial electrical and communications design, followed by the complete electrical and communications installation. The first such facility outside of the USA required complex satellite and WiFi communications which allowed our experience and expertise to mesh a network suitabl...e for the autonomous vehicles. We are very proud of our team (David, Matt, Hamish and Dylan) whom delivered such a unique project on time and to the satisfaction of both Piacentini & Son and Westrac. Within that normal however, are new health and safety measures in line with Government and health department directives to ensure your safety and that of our staff. 01.01.2022 The JCW Electrical Group are always interested in sustainability and the associated products to assist in lowering our collective carbon footprint. We have been blessed recently in assisting with the installation of the newly opened 'disabled access' fishing jetty. We were able to assist the stakeholders by supplying and installing sustainable 50W solar lighting to the jetty structures. These light fittings are fully programmable with a choice of various lux levels and they w...ill turn on automatically each night (although the fittings can be programmed to turn on and off at whatever times the end user chooses). A fully charged battery provides autonomous lighting for 3 nights or 36hrs.
