22.01.2022 What’s scariest part of horsemanship? The first thing that comes to mind for most of us is accidents and injuries But for you, fellow compassionate hors...e person, I know there’s a fear that runs even deeper than the possibility of physical pain It keeps you up at night. It causes emotional breakdowns in the arena. And sometimes, it even keeps you away from your horse all together The fear that you’ve agonized over is something that, undoubtedly, we’ve all subconsciously believed before: I am not enough. Not knowledgeable enough. Not skilled enough. Not accomplished enough. Not enough for my horse. I know this, because I’ve heard this fear from so many people. And I’ve felt it myself. I still do. This painful belief is deeply ingrained into our collective consciousness, and it torments us. It holds us back from our truest, most beautiful potential BUT... it isn’t true. You are more than enough Your existence on earth is a true gift to all of us. So can we completely shed the fear? Can we decide to always feel like the shining star that we are? In my experience... no. I’ve reached a level of mastery in areas of horsemanship. I’ve judged & performed all over the world, won competitions, and blown expectations out of the water. And yet, I still have that aching question come up from time to time. Am I enough? It’s often not even a conscious thought... I just find myself avoiding certain things, or working extra hard to *feel* enough. I share this because I want you to know that you’re not alone. Your fears are valid. You may never feel 100% confident in your worth. You may still have breakdowns and need breaks from training. And that is entirely okay But as you process, remember to come back around to the truth, and see this fear for what it is: a lie. You’re mistakes are stepping stones in your learning journey. Your emotional outbursts are your awakening. Your failures are catalysts for your greatest successes. You are more than enough @impulsephotographymb See more

18.01.2022 *** IMMEDIATE START *** Seeking your help. With the ever growing business’s both James and I run, we are seeking someone to come in on a part time basis 3 day...s possibly more a week. Days can be negotiable. We own and operate a large diverse farming operation near Big Springs NSW (Wagga area), as well as my Equine body work business. My work takes me off farm, and that’s where you come in. I’m seeking someone to help out with daily living chores. These can include but not limited to, driving children to school/home, general admin, meal preparation, light house work and gardening. At times your assistance may be required on the farm, so you must be prepared to get in and have a go when necessary. We own a herd of horses that are also used to run our business and at times you may be required to ride, so some horse riding experience is desirable. As we have 4 children who are our priority, so you must have current WWCC and first aid certificate, drivers licence and experience in a similar role preferable. On farm accommodation can be offered to the right candidate after a trial period.

12.01.2022 I am seeing soo much thrush at the moment ... Thrush is a degeneration of the frog with secondary anaerobic bacterial infection that begins in the central and collateral sulci. The central sulcus is more commonly involved if the horse has sheared heels; the lateral sulci are primarily involved in most cases of thrush (without sheared heels). The affected sulci are moist and contain a black, thick discharge with a characteristic foul odor; the borders of the frog are commonly ...necrotic. These signs alone are sufficient to make the diagnosis. Although many describe the primary etiology as a moist environment with poor hygiene, it is more likely caused by poor foot conformation or trimming and lack of exercise (thought to help clean out the sulci when the weight of the horse pushes down on the frog and surrounding structures) than from lack of hygiene in the stall. However, a moist environment should be avoided in animals with thrush. Purchase some bug buster today for $32.95 and rid your horse of thrush ... pm me for more details .. See more
