24.01.2022 Seeing as the Wall is quite empty; I thought this would be the perfect time to post. Perhaps a bit of shameless self-promotion; but I figured it would be a good idea to use my own Version 8 STi as an example of what were all about here at JDMech. This car has had a complete e85 conversion; as its no longer used on a daily basis; and I have the luxury of United Osborne Park 2 minutes down the road from my house. It runs a DW300 fuel pump; 1000cc Injector Dynamics injectors, ...and a Forced Performance 76hta (Garret GT3076 core with Subaru housings - one of the largest standard position turbochargers you can fit to the EJ207s). Car went on to make 358awhp @ 1.35bar. Today I went about rectifying a rattling waste gate actuator; continued use of Antilag (this car is equipped with a ViPEC V44) has a tendency to stretch the waste gate actuator assembly out of its proper geometry. Fortunately; the actuator arm has a threaded clevis yoke to compensate for this, as I found the car was slightly laggy whilst ramping onto boost - so this was adjusted accordingly. Additionally; I fitted the final adhesive gold heat shielding to the turbocharger heat shield and modified it to clear the larger 76hta turbine housing & actuator assembly. I also tweaked the post-crank enrichment via the ViPEC to optimize my cold start. Get in contact if your Subaru in particular needs either servicing or perhaps even an e85 conversion - pending availability we can sort all of that out for you

15.01.2022 Tonight as a late coming albeit relatively quick and cheerful Job; We had in Joshs impeccable example of a Version 5 STi Coupe in for a re-configuration of his suspension in lead up for his coming night at No Limits tomorrow evening. Due to reported scrubbing on predominantly the LHS of the car; we adjusted the ride height upwards by 20mm on all corners. Additionally, we fitted the customer supplied Forza FP2 pads to the front Brembos as per Joshs request. He also requested... that we fit the rear subframe lockbolts supplied; which will hopefully lock in the rear suspension geometry for an extra few milliseconds shaved off his lap time tomorrow night. Cheers Josh.
