23.01.2022 Tonight I hand over duties of Head Coach to the owner of JJM Sydney @mcolhocking as I am moving to Adelaide with the Army for a 2 year posting. After joining the team at the beginning of 2016 as a freshly minted Purple belt, I immediately felt the passion and drive of both the group and the JJM lineage. The last 5 years has been amazing as we have all grown together through the grind of hard work,sweat and juggling work and family priorities. The last 3 years as a Brown belt... has allowed me to develop not only my own game but as a Coach especially after taking over the Head Coaching role in October 2018. Thank you Master @jeanjacquesmachado and Prof. @jayzeballos for trusting me in that role. It’s been an absolute privilege representing @jeanjacquesmachado lineage and whilst I didn’t achieve all my goals, my greatest achievement was the development of the JJM Sydney adult and kids teams. All of them represent the finest attributes of the JJM lineage as they are dedicated, skillful, relentless and humble on and off the mats. Whilst I’ll be handing the JJM Sydney social media pages over, I can be still contacted on my personal Facebook and Instagram accounts so don’t be afraid to drop a message and say hi as I will really miss the team and group as you have all become family.
