24.01.2022 Great photo of some of the hats we made on my last job of 2019. My good friend and very talented milliner and costumer Margaret Gill called me in for the last 6 weeks to get the job done with the very talented Lauren Kenyon. We made 16 of these Hats in the black and white world. All for a very famous pop star Jolin Tsai in China for her world tour called ‘The Ugly Beauty Tour’ designed by Heather Cairns. It was a privilege to work with these very best costume makers and milliners. All the costumes were amazing!

11.01.2022 In isolation I am never without something to do, I have started making bags. I’m going with the linen ones. Denim was my starting ones to see how the pattern was working etc. Two of these have been snapped up by my niece and granddaughter. (You know you have a winner when that happens!). I have been lucky to have many metres of this gorgeous handwoven Belgium Linen to make up, in two different natural tones. Thanks to Carole Douglas for selling me a whole roll of this ...gorgeous treasure. And then I remembered another roll in my stash. They are lined in a Indian cotton woodblock print. The base is the size of mobile phones and they are light and the perfect size for all that is necessary. Even my interfacing is cotton and no glue involved in the makings. I will be making hats to match when I feel like a change. Feel free to pm me if you would like one. See more
