"Theres an absolute riot going on the nose roses, strawberries, raspberry coulis, plum, cherry, mulberry, blackberry and cassis all clamouring for attention. And in quite a different register, its got some lovely forest floor aromas too. The palate has so much fruit again, threatening to burst the glass at its seams. All framed, and (sort of) held in check, by some lovely ripe, rounded tannins and backed with some subtle, well integrated oak spice." - Ben J.

23.01.2022 Have you tried our 2018 Watervale Riesling? Absolutely bursting with blossom on the nose and trolley-loads of ripe fruit too, honeydew melon, lychee, pear and theres classic lemon and apple too. Dare we say, about as aromatic as a Riesling can get. And on the palate, its not exactly shy and retiring either such an absolute riot of fruit that its impossible not to be swept away by a wine that offers such an enormous quantity of utterly hedonistic pleasure. ... But, despite all that opulence its still so clean and refreshing, with beautiful poise and balance. See more
