22.01.2022 For the 6th straight month the RBA has decided to leave any changes to interest rates on hold. This was largely expected and is aligned with the RBA governors previous comments that the cash rate is unlikely to change in either direction until unemployment is below 4%...it is expected we are 2-3 years away from having any chance of reaching unemployment levels that low. With the lowest interest rates ever, now here to stay it’s a great time to get into the market.... 20.01.2022 With buyers flocking to regional markets thinking they are picking up a bargain and expecting big capital gains it’s important to understand that 80% of the 65000 odd people who have recently move from capital cities to regional markets have actually moved to regional markets on the outskirts of major cities (think 1-2 hours from major city centers...places like central coast, Newcastle, Wollongong). 20.01.2022 Did you know? The RBA recently completed a historical study and a 1% drop in the RBA cash rate has on average driven an 8% increase in property prices in the 1-2 years post the reduction. :-)

02.01.2022 I found this article interesting. We have been investing in markets away from home since day 1. It’s called borderless investing. To invest in the suburb you live in makes absolutely no sense whatsoever when there are thousands of suburbs/locations across Australia, some good...some bad.
