14.01.2022 One fruit we always think deserves more attention at this time of year are the wonderful Marroo Seedless grapes. They are small grapes, deep red to black in colour and grown in North and Central Queensland, with exceptional flavour. Theyve become much more available in the last few years, with many new vines being planted. As grape vines age, the flavour of the grapes they produce improves, so they are only going to get better every season. In store now.

14.01.2022 We have quality drum head cabbage on special @ $1.50 per half, so what better time to have a crack at some fermented sauerkraut? Fermenting may sound like the "newest" diet craze, but its actually one of the oldest! We all of course know of beer, wine and spirits - all products of fermentation - but few realise that prior to the modern inventions of using processed sugar or preservative chemicals in our food to make it last, mankind utilised fermentation as the primary method of making fresh food last across the year. There are literally thousands of recipes & methods however this one by Chef Tersa Cutter is simple and works well https://www.thehealthychef.com/2014/03/polish-sauerkraut/ Give it a go!
