25.01.2022 My way of doing business is about developing a partnership/friendship with my client. Personal training isn’t about barking orders, it‘s about listening and understanding your clients needs. I’ve studied exercise science and I understand human movement etc, however I haven’t studied each, individual person and every single person is different in so many ways. ... The body is made up of an amazing, complex muscular system to which the industry is still evolving to understand. Chuck a different person in the mix and it’s almost like starting from scratch... We’re not like a make and model of car which comes with one manual, every human needs their own manual. The way I tackle this, is to listen and to observe vital feedback the client provides. After all, the client knows their body far better than I do. It’s also a case of educating the client to better understand their own body. Once that happens, the feedback improves greatly. Over time the screws are tweaked and bolts are tightened to constantly improve the bodies response. Ben (pictured) has come to know his body incredibly well since we first began. Together we navigate our way through any injuries or niggles he may have and continue to improve his functional strength. ‘Teamwork makes the Dream work’



25.01.2022 Today is R U OK Day and in todays current climate, it's more important than ever before to check in with people you're concerned about. MORE importantly, you MUST speak up. It's OK to not be OK!... If someone asks you the question today, please talk. Too often I hear of cases where the signs of mental health issues are invisible due to people hiding behind a mask. There are also cases where people show the signs, yet dismiss a sympathetic ear to avoid becoming a burden or looking weak. Speak up! You are not a burden and you are not weak. You are important, you are strong, you are worthy and you are needed in this world. We can not fix what we don't know. Ask the question and if you're being asked, please give a truthful answer. R U OK Day

We occasionally check our mirrors to check what’s behind us, but our focus is still forward. Much like our goals, our driving force is to hit our targets. To achieve that, it’s vital we remain focused. We can veer off course momentarily to take care of other duties, but it’s important to return to focus and avoid dwelling on what’s behind us, the past. The only time y...ou should look back, is to see where you’ve been. Keep moving forward with laser focus!

07.01.2022 Merry Christmas from my family to yours! 2020 has been a shit storm of a year, however we made it through regardless of the setbacks. Who knows what 2021 holds, but it’s always best to be prepared. Be proactive instead of reactive.... Take check of your: Inner Health (Diet) Physical Health (Exercise) Emotional Health (Mindset) Ticking these 3 boxes puts you in the drivers seat rather than the passenger seat and potentially driving blind. Remain in control!! Most of all, ATTITUDE. Attitude is that little thing that makes a BIG difference.

If it's unhealthy habits, they'll contribute to unhealthy results. If it's healthy habits you're choosing, they'll contribute to healthy results.
