17.01.2022 So I am at an Air B&B yesterday just keeping myself busy before the ceremony and I thought I would take the rings outside to photograph them on a big textured fallen tree. Out of a nearby tree flies a young butcher bird & lands right beside me. I took a couple of closeup photos before noticing he had his eye on the ring box and perhaps the rings inside. I quickly shut up shop and took the rings back inside as there would not be a single soul that would have believed me if I had said that a bird flew down & stole your rings...it wasnt me :)

12.01.2022 The vast majority of my weddings I offer a free pre-wedding walk around a day or two before the wedding. This app I use is just the business for showing clients exactly where the sun will be on their wedding day. They can see if we need to make slight adjustments to the placing of the arbor or if the couple needs to swap sides so the Bride isnt standing out with the hot sun beating down on her face..... we do that to the Groom..... just kidding. Pre-wedding walkarounds are brilliant for taking away the stress from the photography side, as we know exactly what we will be doing on the day Taken on Friday, the day before Fiona & Ians wedding.

04.01.2022 A hike in the mountains. Steve & Ben were driving in from wine country out west & I had organised to meet them out on the mountains for our shoot. The weather hadnt been playing fair on the run up the range and it rained the entire trip until I hit Lawson. We managed to hit that window between rain & storms with views that were stunning & ever-changing. One minute we would be looking out over the cloud tops & the next we would be totally enveloped in them :) It made for a fun shoot :)
