24.01.2022 So pleased to finally have Felicity in studio who came all the way from Melbourne. We have been planning her shoot for months and completed 6 themes. What a great variety of looks including themes never done before. Thanks to Rita my awesome makeup artist who knows exactly what I need to suit each look. Great day girls. So much fun :)

24.01.2022 Wishing everyone a happy new year. I sincerely hope that you all have a safe and hopefully less stressful one than we did this year. I'm looking forward to getting back in studio (even if it is just on a casual basis) and hopefully seeing some of you again and meeting some new faces as well. 22.01.2022 So pleased to hand over this amazing collection. Kerrie and Tamara came back to me (before all hell broke loose with Covid-19 and my Mum falling ill) for another amazing day in studio. Loved doing the 'mother and daughter' images. Thanks girls. I do hope that one day we can do it all again

We did 4 themes which Victoria pulled off beautifully especially Arwen with her lovely fine features. Thanks again to all my amazing clients. 20.01.2022 So pleased to hand over another wonderful collection to Hannah. We had loads of fun in studio, especially with a friend's husky for our red riding hood theme. Our normal services will be opening up from 16th of May so we can now get everyone in studio. I'm looking forward to having more wonderful shoots. Recent voucher winners can start organising pre-shoot consultations. Look forward to start creating again :)

18.01.2022 When Aingel asked if I could photograph her daughter, I jumped at the chance. Aurora did 6 themes which is hard work, not only for an adult but a child...just amazing. She was so patient during the costume and makeup changes and got into character so well. You were amazing Aurora and look forward to our outdoor cosplay shoot when the weather gets cooler. Hoping we can get to Supanova this year as well :)

15.01.2022 NEW WEBSITE up and running!. I have finally got my act together and I'm so pleased with the results. Website has examples of different themes and requests, some personal work, commercial assignments, bio, booking and voucher purchase page and what I'm really excited about is my "Market Shop" where you can purchase little art treasures starting from $1.50. In time I want to start selling my fantasy work on greeting cards so will need to contact some of you for model release forms. Check it all out! 15.01.2022 It was such a pleasure to have our first ever mother and daughter shoot. Tamara had her shoot some time back (we all remember the amazing Poison Ivy) so now it was Kerrie's (Mum) turn. The girls decided on the 'Adams Family' which I was so thrilled to shoot plus mother and daughter nymph style theme. Kerrie then did medieval and ice queen on her own. Thanks girls for all your beautiful costumes, many of them hand made. A big thanks to Rita my wonderful makeup artist who is now officially on maternity leave. Can't wait to see bubby! Our shoots resume mid May but I am still working behind the scenes with editing, costuming ideas and purchases plus consultations. Great day girls :)

When Aingel asked if I could do a mermaid theme with tail I jumped at the chance since I was kindly donated a tail by the lovely Jasmine who has done two incredible shoots with us in the past. It wasn't easy for Aingel to shuffle across the floor in the massive and heavy fin, but we got there. The results speak for themselves. Thanks girls for such a fun day :) #fantasyart

12.01.2022 Looking for kids to be models!!! Coming soonthe new ‘Kids’ category. Over the years I have been asked numerous times if I did fantasy shoots for kids. Well good news parents, I am soon opening up kids shoots and packages. To be able to kick this off I need models! As a thank you gift I will be giving each model 2 fully edited digital images plus all the images from the shoot unedited on usb. What I need is: 4 kids aged between 7-10 2 girls and 2 boys Shoot day will be a Su...nday so you will need to be available on this day. I will be shooting in the Newstead studio, Brisbane. Each child will have an hour shoot and up to 2 costume changes. 11.01.2022 So pleased to hand deliver another amazing collection to the beautiful Bethany. I met Deanne (Bethany's mum) at Supanova last year where she purchased a gift voucher for Bethany's 16 birthday. What a wonderful gift. So many fun memories from the shoot and a collection of images which will be cherished for a lifetime. Thanks ladies so much for coming to see me. Had such a wonderful time. Look forward to seeing you both again next year when I get things up and running again :)

10.01.2022 So pleased to be back in studio after having two months away. Rita has had her beautiful baby girl so we are now back in business. It was such a pleasure having Karen in studio who came to us after Karen's daughter purchased a shoot for her Mum. Karen has beaten the studio record for being the most mature lady to date. Awesome work!. So much fun and we did a new look, 'Victorian Riding' theme which was just amazing. With Karen's beautiful English fair skin, she really suited the part.Thanks Rita for your make-up skills and Karen for being with us and putting up with me pinning and tucking costumes and getting all the petticoats on. Great day girls :)

08.01.2022 Before and After Series #1. Photoshop is a wonderful tool which has opened up a world of creativity for photographers. What generally took days or even weeks to achieve in the darkroom we can now do at the click of a button. But, it’s not the only tool needed. Pre-visualisation for a photographer is just as important. When I meet a new client at their pre-shoot consultation, I’m straight into pre-visualisation mode. I think about costuming, make-up and more importantly, ...how am I going to light and pose my subject. In this series over the next few months, I want to share some of the steps taken from a selection of shoots I have done over the past years. When I met Victoria, the first thing I noticed was her fine frame and elf like features. When she asked if I could do Arwen and an Ice Queen, I knew these themes would suit her beautifully. In the studio I used elegant poses and soft lighting that would show her beautiful bone structure. In photoshop, lots of nature overlays, backgrounds and soft glow effects. For her Harry Potter theme, I went a bit more dramatic with lighting and wanted to express her inner strength with stronger poses. Photoshop I used buildings, brick walls and added magical effects on her wand. You're looking amazing Victoria :) See more

06.01.2022 TEMPORARY CLOSURE! Due to my Mum suddenly falling gravely ill, I will need to close business for a period of time so that I can care for her on a full-time basis until she is well again. I will still be editing images for client’s who are on payments plans but I will not be shooting or booking in new shoots until a couple of months at least. I will still be honoring current recipients vouchers so don’t worry about expiry dates. I will eventually get back to you all to reschedule pre-shoot consultations. I will also be following through with the kid’s modelling shoot so those who are involved with that, I will be in touch with a new date when I can. 04.01.2022 A huge thanks to everyone who helped me in my quest to find models for the new 'Kids Fantasy Shoot' service. What a difficult job as there were so many wonderful kids. I have chosen the final six and they have been contacted by me personally. For those who didn't make the final selection, I have put you on a back-up list in case someone is suddenly sick or unavailable. Once again, thank you all for your time and efforts :)

She had some special requests such as a woodland elf incorporating the monarch butterfly and UV light with a butterfly theme. Stunning results and loads of fun. 01.01.2022 TEMPORARY CLOSURE UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your warm encouraging comments and well wishes for my sick Mum. They all really touched my heart. After a long stay in hospital of 51 days, Mum is finally home and comfortable. She will require life long specialist treatment now and I will be her full-time carer for the rest of her life. Due to her life changing illness, I will not be able to work my business full-time as I once did however, I am looking at starting shoots ...on a casual basis in the new year. I also want to continue on with the kids’ section of the business so the ‘kids fashion shoot’ will also have to wait till next year. Recipients of shoot vouchers will also be honored and those already booked for shoots will need to be re-scheduled. I will contact you all over the following weeks with more information. 01.01.2022 Once again I have been so fortunate to have a beautiful young lady in studio. Deanne purchased a gift voucher last year at Supanova for her daughter Bethany and we have all been excited to finally do her shoot. Thanks Bethany for bringing your very cool anime costume and Mum for keeping us company and for all your efforts on the boots. Once again Rita my wonderful makeup artist has shown off her talents. 01.01.2022 It warms my heart to hand over my beautiful client's images. The whole journey from pre-shoot consultation, photo shoot, viewing and choosing the images on shoot day, editing each image and finally preparing them for presentation is such a joy for me. I loved every minute of Megan's shoot and what a day with 9 outfit changes. Thanks Megan for your ongoing enthusiasm and willingness to give everything a go.
