13.01.2022 Hello to all JEMA Taekwon Do students and supporters. The Covid-19 lock down continues and, while there are signs that the restrictions are easing, at this point in time there will be no Taekwon do training for the month of May. Master Damian is making online material available with short videos on coloured belt patterns, stretching, warm ups and drills on the clubs private Facebook page (Jayamaha Enterprise Martial Arts). He welcomes comments on the private Facebook page so... please if you find a video useful or you have any questions you are welcome to post there. Feedback from students will enable any online material to be better tailored to your needs. Just remember in true Taekwon do spirit always be polite and respectful if you expect to be treated in the same manner. If you wish to contact Master Damian ( or if you are a student of Mr Matt or Mr Kerry and want to communicate with them ) about any training issues you can do so by SMS or email. For instance when you want a pattern checked take a video and send it to your Instructor. To make training material more accessible Master Damian has started a club YouTube channel ( Jayamaha EMA ). As with the private Facebook page there will be new videos posted all the time so please subscribe. Be aware that comments are blocked on the club YouTube channel so any feedback or questions will have to be made by the ways mentioned earlier. The next step in online training will be live classes on Facebook. Junior class will be on a Wednesday from 6:00 till 6:30 p.m. with Senior class following from 6:45 till 7:15 p.m., Master Damian will notify students when this will begin. To avoid confusion live training will NOT be starting this Wednesday but at a date to be advised. Who joins the classes will be monitored and taken into consideration when grading eligibility is being decided. Similarly if you ask questions or make comments this will be noted. Students due for BLACK BELT GRADING this year must be continuing their training at home. Master Damian is making plans to enable you to grade if you are ready and have done the work.

09.01.2022 Jayamaha Enterprise Martial Art Students: We hope that everyone is remaining safe and well during the shutdown and keeping up with your training. Master Jayamaha has been busy preparing videos for our members, to assist you while training at home. These videos are now being shared onto our club's closed Facebook Group.... If you are a current member of our club and have not yet joined the club's group, please head to http://www.facebook.com/groups/jayamahaema and request access. 08.01.2022 Further to the previous COVID-19 post, the Lawnton Showgrounds is closing to the public and there will no longer be any training there on this Saturday 28th or March 2020. Unfortunately Master Jayamaha has been informed that the Showgrounds will be closing so there can be no training there on Saturday. As the present COVID-19 emergency situation develops we will attempt to keep you informed on how this affects JEMA Taekwon-Do and your training through the email newsletter, Facebook and when necessary email/SMS directly to you. Please note that the classes at Eatons Hill State School and Griffin State School, this Saturday will be held. These will be the final classes until further notice.
