16.01.2022 **Keys found** Hey everyone. We found a set of bronze keys attached to a blue lanyard hanging off the bollard outside our shop last week. Thursday or Friday, I cant recall exactly what day. We took them inside and left a note stating where the keys are in case someone does come back looking for them. But no one has claimed them and the note is gone! Anyway, they have been handed to the cleaners office and kept with the lost and found stuff. Please share if you may know someone missing these keys or if you know anything about the lost keys.

A local senior member reported that his bicycle had been stolen or taken without permission. He would like to have it returned as soon as possible. 07.01.2022 What do I do with my flowers after I get them? Getting your flowers into water and into a cool environment is very important to maintaining the freshness of your flowers. Placing the flowers in a vase with water will prevent them from dehydrating. A professional florist may provide you a sachet of flower food to nourish and protect them from bacteria and prevent dehydration. Flowers love water so getting your flowers into water as quickly as possible is best.... If your flowers came in a box arrangement with floral foam, ensure the foam is rather wet by poking it to test the moisture level. If you cant feel any liquid, then it needs to be topped up. We recommend daily doses of about 1/2 cup of water into the flower foam to keep them happily hydrated. Of course you want to find a good spot to display your flowers so make sure its a place where they can be admired from many viewpoints for you and your guests. But, you need to consider a few things as well. Place your floral arrangement on a table or mantle or somewhere in the house that is not near any fruit or vegetables or near any sources of heat or cold. But, be careful with direct sunlight that may shine in through the windows, cut flowers will react badly to direct sunlight and it can make the vase water react baldly too. Also, if you can remember to change the vase water every 2 days and re-cut the stems as well, you will have the happiest flowers, they will fight to stay alive!
